Arizona State CFB Posts Video of Hidden Camp Tontozona Practice Field
Arizona State posted a video showcasing its picturesque practice field at Camp Tontozona in Payson, Arizona on Friday.
Arizona State has been heading to "Camp T" since 1959, when head coach Frank Kush wanted the Sun Devils to train at a new location during the summer.
This year, head coach Kenny Dillingham has brought the Sun Devils to Payson for a four-day stretch that began Wednesday and ends Saturday with the Maroon and Gold scrimmage.
ASU is looking to improve upon a tremendous 2024 season that featured the Sun Devils winning the Big 12 and making the College Football Playoff, where they nearly picked off Texas before falling in the quarterfinals 39-31 (2 OT).
Expectations are high in Tempe once again. Arizona State is ranked 11th in the preseason Coaches poll, the highest mark for any Big 12 team.
ASU's 2025 season begins at home on Aug. 30 against Northern Arizona.
