Mike Trout Leads Off 2015 MLB All-Star Game with Home Run off Zack Greinke
Los Angeles Dodgers right-hander Zack Greinke entered the 2015 MLB All-Star Game with a 35.2-inning scoreless streak.
However, he couldn't make it through one batter in the Midsummer Classic without giving up a run.
Los Angeles Angels star Mike Trout led off the game by sending a 1-2 pitch into the seats in right field. On the opposite-field shot, Greinke quickly learned that Great American Ball Park is much smaller than his home ballpark, Dodger Stadium.

The home run not only gave the American League a 1-0 lead, but it also gave Trout an incredible feat, per Jeff Passan of Yahoo Sports:
Trout's leadoff home run was only the start of a good night at the plate for the Angels star. Trout led the American League to a 6-3 victory by going 1-for-3 with a walk and two runs scored in the game, earning him the 2015 MLB All-Star Game MVP Award. It was his second consecutive All-Star Game MVP Award, making him the first player to ever accomplish the feat.
