Carlos Alcaraz Back In French Open Final
2 of 3
Carlos Alcaraz defeated Lorenzo Musetti to reach the French Open final for the second consecutive year.
Musetti was able to take advantage of Alcaraz's shaky start, breaking the Spaniard late to win the first set.
In the second set, both players traded early and late service breaks until the Spaniard took control in the tiebreaker.
From that point on, Musetti was dominated by Alcaraz.
In the third set, the four-time major champion went on to bagel the Italian in 24 minutes, committing just two unforced errors.
Alcaraz broke to open the fourth set before Musetti was forced to retire due to injury.
The No. 2 seed has now won 20 of 21 matches on clay this season.
While he's looking to become the third man in the past 25 years to win consecutive titles at Roland-Garros, Sunday's match is expected to be anything but easy against top-ranked Jannik Sinner.
Jannik Sinner Ends Novak Djokovic's Bid Of A Record-Breaking 25th Grand Slam Title

Jannik Sinner defeated Novak Djokovic in straight sets to reach the final at Roland-Garros for the first time in his career.
It didn't take Djokovic 27 minutes to win his first game, but he was outmatched from the outset against Sinner's baseline aggression and physical play.
In the second set, Djokovic adapted his game plan, realizing he needed to come out with similar aggression to achieve any success against the No. 1 seed.
After winning just three return points in the opening set, Djokovic pushed Sinner early, requiring the Italian 10 minutes just to hold his first service game.
The 24-time major champion continued to challenge Sinner, finally breaking him after trailing 5-4.
However, the Italian quickly broke back before holding on to win the second set.
In the final set, Djokovic threw everything he had at the 23-year-old and had two set points to extend the match.
But the three-time slam champion managed to hold on, securing victory in a thrilling tiebreaker.
The Italian has yet to drop a set this week, and in victory, he extended his Grand Slam win streak to 20 consecutive matches.
On Sunday, the match we've all been waiting for will finally arrive, when Sinner takes on defending champion Carlos Alcaraz.
