Jalen Ramsey's Next NFL Landing Spot Predicted by Fans amid Trade Rumors Before Draft
Faced with a cap crunch and potentially looking for a soft reset going into the 2025 season, the Miami Dolphins are making Jalen Ramsey available in a trade just over one week out from the NFL draft.
Per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero, the Dolphins and Ramsey will mutually explore trade options with the idea it "wouldn't be a surprise" if the seven-time Pro Bowler is playing for another team before the start of the upcoming season.
Acquiring Ramsey could be difficult given his $24.2 million guaranteed salary. Taking the financial concerns out of the equation, fans were more than happy to put it out there they would like their teams in the mix for the 30-year-old cornerback.

Jaguars' Hypothetical Alvin Kamara Trade Offer
The most absurd take was Philadelphia Eagles fans, who are clearly feeling themselves coming off a Super Bowl win, looking to add Ramsey even though they already have the best young corner duo in the NFL with Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper DeJean.
Considering Ramsey didn't seem to enjoy his time with Vic Fangio when he was Miami's defensive coordinator in 2023, it's hard to imagine the Eagles being an appealing destination for him even if it did make sense for them.
The most vocal fanbases hoping to see Ramsey wearing their team colors were the Las Vegas Raiders, Washington Commanders and Los Angeles Rams fans hoping for a reunion.
Other clubs given a shoutout include the Minnesota Vikings, Chicago Bears and Atlanta Falcons thanks to their connection from head coach Raheem Morris.
Morris was the Rams defensive coordinator from 2021 to '23, working with Ramsey for two seasons. The '21 campaign marks the last time Ramsey made the All-Pro first team.
The Raiders are an intriguing fit because they are definitely trying to make themselves a playoff contender going into next season. Their offense at least looks interesting on paper with Geno Smith at quarterback throwing passes to Brock Bowers.
Las Vegas' secondary needs a lot of help with Jakorian Bennett and Decamerion Richardson penciled in as the two starting corners.
The Commanders, coming off an appearance in the NFC Championship Game, haven't been overly-aggressive this offseason trying to upgrade their roster with Jayden Daniels entering his second season on a rookie contract.
Acquiring Ramsey would represent a big splash for Washington as it looks to close the gap on the Eagles in the NFC East.
Given how much money Ramsey is owed next season, it's hard to imagine the cost to add him in terms of trade assets being very high.
Even though Ramsey is no longer the true shutdown cornerback from his absolute peak, he remains one of the better players at his position in the NFL. He ranked 10th out of 116 qualified cornerbacks by PFF grading last season.
Ramsey played all 17 games for the Dolphins in 2024. He recorded 11 passes defensed, four tackles for loss and two interceptions.
