Klopp 'Excited' by Premier League, But Agent Hints Bundesliga is Preferred Move

Klopp's agent, Marc Kosicke, told Spox (h/t Liam Twomey of Goal.com):

The Premier League is very exciting. And we do not only think about the top four because there are some other great clubs below them. But I am not sure the profile of the job could work.

In Germany there is a clear separation between manager and sporting director and I think in principle this is very good. Jurgen does not like to speak to players' agents or to carry out a transfer. So we have to see which is the most useful arrangement.

Klopp previously confirmed his intention to take a break from the game, reported by Marcus Christenson of the Guardian on June 1, although Rhys Turrell of the Daily Star had earlier cited a report from Bild that claimed those plans would be shelved if Liverpool were interested in his services.

But if the former Dortmund boss were to resist a sabbatical from the game this summer, the Anfield club would likely face stiff competition for his services. On May 26, Klopp refused to rule out a future move to Bayern, as noted by Kieran Gill of the Daily Mail.

Klopp is seen as a valuable commodity on the management market following his success at Signal Iduna Park.

However, like Pep Guardiola before him, it seems the former Dortmund chief may need time to clear his head before deciding upon a next destination.
