Johan Cruyff Talks Lionel Messi, Neymar, Barcelona, Real Madrid and More
Barcelona legend Johan Cruyff has criticised Real Madrid following the Catalan giants' crowning as La Liga champions on Sunday.
Luis Enrique's side won the league title with a game to spare as they beat Atletico Madrid 1-0 at the Vicente Calderon, courtesy of a Lionel Messi strike.
Despite Los Blancos also winning 4-1 away against Espanyol, the gap of four points to Barca at the top of the table is now unassailable with only one match left to play.

Former Barcelona player and manager Cruyff believes Real Madrid failed in their preparations for the league campaign this season, per AS: "[Real] have not brought in what they had to bring in. It is evident that it has not worked as it had to work."
While Barcelona are on for a league, cup and Champions League treble, Los Blancos have nothing left to play for in 2014-15, and boss Carlo Ancelotti could be headed for the exit door, per beIN Sports:
Given Barca's success this season, the same should certainly not be true of Enrique who has been impressive in his first term in charge at the Camp Nou.
Rumours have circulated, though, doubting Enrique's future at the helm of Barca, per Zarif Rasul of the Daily Mirror, with Cruyff suggesting that his potential departure would be "strange" given the club's fantastic season, per AS.
Much of Barca's success has been down to the tremendous form of their three attackers: Neymar, Luis Suarez and Messi, a combination which Cruyff questioned earlier in the season, per Versio RAC1 (via Inside Spanish Football):
The 68-year-old, who managed Barca as they won the 1992 European Cup, clearly has no regrets about questioning whether the trio could play together, per AS: "I do not care that that they take it badly, that thing that I said about the ‘roosters.'"
Suarez, Neymar and Messi have combined for a ludicrous 79 of Barcelona's 108 league goals this term, with the Argentinian netting 41 alone, per WhoScored.com.
Messi has now won the La Liga title seven times, and he will be aiming for a fourth Champions League winner's medal when Barca face Juventus on June 6 in Berlin's final—a clash previewed by Bleacher Report's Alex Dimond below:
The 27-year-old is widely regarded as the best player in the world—he is consistently compared with Real counterpart Cristiano Ronaldo—but Cruyff brushed away such debates as being unnecessary when asked where Messi ranked in the pantheon of greats, per AS: "There are always exaggerations. Why must we go from the best to the worst? For the sale of newspapers it’s important, but I am not going to go there. Di Stéfano was exceptional, Pelé was exceptional. I see the debate as a childish game."
A treble for Barcelona would be a remarkable feat, and they have achieved the first part by retaining the La Liga title.
They are surely favourites to win the Copa del Rey final against Athletic Bilbao ahead of a potentially historic fixture against Juventus.
