EPL Results Week 37: Premier League Scores, Top Scorers and 2015 Table Tracker
The 2014-15 Premier League campaign is winding toward its conclusion. Although many of the key positions have already been locked up, including Chelsea claiming the championship, there are still some things to be decided over the final weeks.
One of those is the final spot for automatic qualification into the Champions League. It's likely a two-club battle between Manchester United and Arsenal, who face off on Sunday, barring a major collapse over the final few matches by Manchester City.
So there's still some drama to track down the stretch. Let's check out all of the key details, including the current table and leading scorers, before recapping this week's action. The tables will be updated through the completion of play on Monday.

Matchday 37 Recap

The weekend started with a bang as Southampton crushed Aston Villa by a 6-1 score. Sadio Mane led the offensive explosion after he found the net three times in less than three minutes. Shane Long also scored twice for the Saints.
ESPN FC noted the hat-trick set a new Premier League record:
Everton brought their brief two-match losing streak to an end in thrilling fashion. West Ham grabbed a 1-0 lead shortly after the hour mark. But Leon Osman equalised a short time later, and then Romelu Lukaku was able to score the winner in the third minute of stoppage time.
OptaJoe highlighted the fact that Lukaku seemed to like facing the Irons:
The victory allowed the Toffees to jump West Ham into the top half of the table.
Tottenham improved their chances of landing in the Europa League with a 2-0 win over Hull. The Tigers put up a strong fight on the road, generating 14 attempts on goal, but couldn't find the finishing touch they needed.
As a result, they must now win their season finale against Manchester United and get some help in order to avoid relegation. Bleacher Report UK provided the updated outlook:
Queens Park Rangers are definitely finishing in the bottom three but played the role of spoiler on Saturday. They edged Newcastle 2-1 to keep the Magpies in danger heading into the final match. Leroy Fer netted the winner for the Hoops.
Mark Pougatch of BBC Radio 5 Live pointed out the tense times for Newcastle:
Burnley and Stoke City, as well as Sunderland and Leicester City, played to scoreless draws to complete the day's early action.
In the late game, Steven Gerrard played his final home match at Anfield. Although he's heading to Los Angeles to continue his career in Major League Soccer, there was no Hollywood ending to his career at his longtime home stadium.
The Reds lost 3-1 to Crystal Palace. Still, Purely Football provided comments from the captain about the fan support over the years:
Liverpool remain in fifth place despite the defeat.
Manchester City were able to secure a spot in the top three of the Premier League and in the Champions League next season thanks to a 4-2 victory over Swansea. They took a 2-0 lead in the first 36 minutes before the Swans tied things up in the 64th minute thanks to Bafetimbi Gomis.
Yaya Toure, who opened the scoring in the 21st minute, responded with his second goal of the match in the 74th minute to put City back on top.
Per Squawka Football, Toure was on point all day and provided the necessary spark for Manchester City when they needed it:
As good as Toure was, the hero for Manchester City was Joe Hart. Despite giving up two goals midway through the game, the 28-year-old made a crucial save in the final minutes on a header from Federico Fernandez that drew the appreciation of NBC Sports Network's Gary Lineker:
Fernandez's header would have tied the game for Swansea. Instead, Hart's heroics kept the game in hand for City, and Wilfried Bony provided the icing on the cake in extra time.
On Monday, the champions from Chelsea took center stage as they travelled to the Hawthorns to take on West Bromwich Albion. A red card in the 29th minute picked up by Cesc Fabregas left the Blues a man down, and they were unable to dig out of what was already a 1-0 deficit, eventually losing 3-0 to the Baggies.
Chelsea will want to end on a high note over the final matches, even with the trophy already in hand. Next up for the Blues after Monday's bizarre result is a home match versus Sunderland, who may too present a surprise challenge as they seek to avoid relegation with a league match still in hand.
