College Football's Most Important Offers of the Week
One of the most coveted recruits in the Sunshine State in the 2016 cycle is 5-star wideout and current Auburn commitment Nate Craig-Myers.
However, his brother, 2016 corner Jayvaughn Myers, appears to be one of the fastest-rising prospects in the state.
The 6’0”, 175-pounder picked up his eighth and, perhaps, most high-profile offer last week when in-state power Florida tendered him.
According to GatorBait’s Luke Stampini, the offer caught Myers a little off guard.
“They were at practice watching me for a little bit,” Myers told Stampini. “I was doing individual [drills] and after I came back from a break I got the offer. I felt real good. I was pretty happy about it.”
Kentucky, Rutgers and Wake Forest are among some of the other schools in the running for Myers.
However, the Gators offer is very appealing to Myers for a number of reasons.
“They are pretty high now. They are going to be there until the end because they are one of my dream schools. It’s DBU pretty much. Their DB’s have so much swagger.”
For his part, Craig-Myers told Stampini that the offer doesn’t necessarily mean that he and his brother will attend the same school.
“I’m just happy for him, seeing him put in the work, and it’s finally paying off,” Craig-Myers said about the package deal possibility with his brother. “It’ll be a blessing if we go to the same school, but I want to make sure wherever we decide to go, it fits both of us.”
Still, the offer to Myers will create some intrigue in the recruitments of him and his brother.

Michigan Offers 2 Stud OL
One of the staples of Jim Harbaugh’s Stanford teams was their toughness along the the offensive line.
The new Michigan head coach will try to do the same in Ann Arbor, and he took a step forward in offering a pair of talented offensive linemen last week.
The Wolverines offered 2016 4-star Texas native Jean Delance and 3-star Virginia standout and current North Carolina pledge Jay Jay McCargo.
Michigan, who already has one offensive line pledge in 4-star tackle Erik Swenson, will focus on amassing more talent in the trenches in the 2016 cycle moving forward.
NJ Duo Nets Trio of Impressive Offers
With studs such as 2016 4-star athlete Brad Hawkins and 2016 4-star defensive end Ron Johnson blowing up in recruiting circles, Camden (New Jersey) High School has been a hotbed in the northeast for college coaches.
In fact, both players picked up offers from Missouri, Tennessee and Arizona State last week.
The 6’2”, 190-pound Hawkins can play receiver or safety at the next level, and he has more than 20 offers to his credit thus far.
Johnson is a 6’4”, 240-pound pass-rusher who is rated as the No. 12 weak-side defensive end and the No. 199 player overall in the 2016 class.
Michigan, Notre Dame and South Carolina are among the schools in the running for both players.

Oklahoma Targets Top 2017 QB
Oklahoma has already landed a top-flight quarterback in the 2016 cycle with 4-star pledge Austin Kendall.
But Bob Stoops and his staff are already thinking about the future after tendering 2017 5-star quarterback Hunter Johnson, according to Steve Wiltfong of 247Sports.
The 6’3”, 197-pounder rates as the nation’s top pro-style passer and the No. 9 player overall in the 2017 class.
Johnson already holds 17 offers, with programs such as Notre Dame, Penn State and Tennessee among his early suitors.
