La Liga Fixtures 2015 Week 34: Schedule, Live Stream Info, Picks and Key Players
There’s no time to pause for breath in La Liga, as all 20 teams from the Spanish top flight return to action throughout the week, with plenty still to play for at both ends of the table.
In the ongoing tussle for top spot, Barcelona host Getafe on Tuesday before Real Madrid welcome struggling Almeria to the Bernabeu, with two convincing home wins expected.
For Barca, a win would be a case of one down, four to go, and although they travel to third-place Atletico Madrid in the penultimate week of the season, momentum is key when it comes to winning titles.

Barcelona to Continue Stunning Form

This Barcelona side is up there with the very best they’ve ever produced—even a Real Madrid fan would have to reluctantly accept that.
The football that Luis Enrique has his side playing is the stuff of dreams and, more importantly, nightmares for opposition.
Enrique’s front three of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar are proving unplayable, while the likes of Andres Iniesta, Ivan Rakitic and Javier Mascherano are also producing the goods.

So, when Getafe head to the Camp Nou on Tuesday, another masterclass is expected.
The visitors sit just seven points above the drop zone heading into Week 34’s action after Levante disposed of them 1-0 in their crunch relegation scrap on Saturday.
However, they’ll be happy to see Barca lining up without left-back Jordi Alba, who was sent off in the 2-0 triumph over Espanyol in Week 33.
The Spaniard picked up two bookings in a matter of minutes for dissent, leaving sports journalist Ben Hayward to criticise his attitude:
Alba had previously provided a telling assist for Neymar’s opener, and Getafe will be thrilled to see him watching on from the stands.
Winger Pedro Leon will no doubt relish Alba’s absence, too, and if Getafe are to get anything out of the game, it will be through good work down the right flank.
However, where Tuesday’s game will be won and lost is in the middle of the park.
Key Player: Andres Iniesta

Barcelona’s central midfield has been outstanding this season and, as always, Iniesta has been the cornerstone behind its brilliance.
He dictated the Espanyol match from start to finish, especially so impressive after Alba’s dismissal.
Iniesta has the ability to slow the game down or speed it up depending on the situation, and with Alba off to pitch, he simply kept play ticking over accordingly.
On Tuesday, it’ll be the Spaniard’s job to up the game’s tempo and get the front three involved, which he can also manage with aplomb. James Dodd of talkSPORT sung the midfielder's praises via Twitter:
Barca will be under big pressure to pick up three points, but Iniesta said he and his teammates are fully focused on the job at hand—via SoccerWay:
"Every match is a final and we really need to win every match left. We're taking everything seriously and must keep picking up wins."

With Iniesta in full flow and the rest of the team performing well, picking up wins will come easily. When Getafe visit the Camp Nou, it could well be a case of how many for Enrique’s magnificent men.
Real Will Turn Up the Pressure

For all of Barcelona’s brilliance and the somewhat bemusing calls of Real Madrid being in turmoil, Carlo Ancelotti’s side still fancy their chances of leapfrogging their rivals and taking back the La Liga title.
They follow Barca’s clash with Getafe by welcoming Almeria to the Bernabeu, and should pick up three points with minimal fuss.
Los Blancos ran out comfortable 4-1 victors in the reverse fixture, and although Almeria are scrapping for their La Liga lives and will come to the Bernabeu chasing a win, they’ll likely get swept away.
Key Player: Javier Hernandez

When Real Madrid brought Mexican striker Javier Hernandez to the Spanish capital, plenty of eyebrows were raised.
However, the Little Pea is now starting to prove his doubters wrong, scoring three goals in his last four games—per Squawka Football:
He bagged a brace in Sunday’s 4-2 victory over Celta Vigo, displaying the kind of finishing instinct from which he’s built his name.
That’s on top of the dramatic late winner against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League quarter-final second leg, so it’s safe to say that Hernandez is in red-hot form.
Real will no doubt turn to the striker for goals on Wednesday, and based on his recent form, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him bag a few.

At the other end of the table, Cordoba need to take points from their trip to Levante to keep their survival hopes intact, while Deportivo travel to Elche looking to climb out of the bottom three.
Only a month of La Liga action remains, but we’re still no closer to finding out the destination of the title, the recipients of European places and those keeping their top-flight status.
Week 34, then, is of paramount importance across the division. It’s all going right down to the wire.
