Premier League Table: Latest 2015 EPL Standings and Predictions for Matchday 35
The title appears to be heading to Stamford Bridge as Chelsea go into Matchday 35 with an impressive 10-point lead. Arsenal failed to beat Jose Mourinho's tactically prepared outfit in a goalless draw on Sunday, leaving the Blues close to glory.
The battle is now on for second position, with both Manchester giants and Arsene Wenger's team all within two points of each other.
But the real entertainment will be at the bottom of the EPL as the race to survive reaches fever pitch.

Relegation Battle to Take Centre Stage

As Manchester City surrender their Premier League title in a dreadful fashion, and Arsenal and Manchester United leave their charge too late, Chelsea's hands are now just inches away from the EPL trophy.
But at the other end of the table, the action is red-hot as seven teams battle it out to retain their status in England's top league.
Matchday 35 sees the key battle between Leicester City and Newcastle, with the fortunes of the two sides considerably different at present.

The Geordies have entered free fall at the climax of the campaign, while the Foxes have found their best form of the season.
Leicester have inexplicably won four games in a row, just when it looked like their ship would sink with little fanfare, and they now sit fourth in the EPL form guide ahead of Manchester United, Liverpool and City. Newcastle are bottom of the form guide with no wins in six, and a loss on Saturday will truly suck them into the relegation dogfight.
A victory for any of the bottom seven teams will have a dramatic effect on the run-in, with Hull City, Leicester and Sunderland all holding a precious game in hand.

Aston Villa will be looking to leapfrog Newcastle after seeing their performance jump since the appointment of Tim Sherwood.
The Villains were desperately unlucky in their last match against City, with the champions grabbing a late winner against Sherwood's impressive team.
Match of the Day's Gary Lineker highlighted the improvements of the Villa Park club in recent weeks:

And with just five games remaining, Chelsea welcome Crystal Palace to Stamford Bridge as south London meets west, safe in the knowledge a simple win will almost seal the EPL title, leaving them just three points from glory.
The Eagles appear to have ended their campaign early. Their last couple of results suggest they have achieved their goals and are ready for their summer holidays.
This makes them perfect bait for Mourinho and Co., with the Blues intent on finishing the EPL long before the final game.

Chelsea have been criticised for their tactics in recent weeks, with Mourinho opting for caution over entertainment and flair, but these are classic tactics from the Special One, grinding out results when the prize is almost in his hands.
The Blues have built the second half of their season around John Terry and his defence, squeezing out opponents rather than blowing them away with a spectacular offence.
And with Manchester City, Arsenal and Manchester United all dropping points at crucial periods of the season, you cannot criticise Chelsea for bolting the stable door and leaning on their strengths.
Chelsea will be crowned league champions, and Mourinho will have achieved the first stage of his rekindled romance with the west Londoners. The next challenge will be the UEFA Champions League, a trophy the Portuguese coach is yet to bring to Stamford Bridge.
