Dunga Looking to Continue Brazil Resurgence

After their humbling 7-1 defeat to Germany in Belo Horizonte at the World Cup, big questions were asked of the Selecao. The appointment of Dunga—who was unimpressive during a previous stint as manager—was also met with quizzical glances. But the former World Cup winner seems to be pushing this Brazil team in the right direction.
The signs of that were wholly apparent as they tackled and bested a very capable France team. There was an underpinning cohesion you’d expect from a team managed by the former defensive midfielder, but in players such as Oscar, Neymar and Willian, a sprinkling of stardust helped the visitors secure an impressive 3-1 win.

As noted by BreatheSport, the South Americans have bounced back in style since the World Cup debacle:

In Neymar, they have a talisman extraordinaire too. The Barcelona star seems to relish the responsibility of being the main man for his team, and whenever he dons the iconic gold jersey, there seems to be an extra edge to his play. That was on display against France, as he hammered Brazil in front with a ferocious finish.

It continued the player’s remarkable goalscoring record at international level, as we can see here courtesy of Jack Lang of the Mirror:
Chile should represent difficult opposition, though. At the World Cup, they won over many neutrals with their high-octane style of play and the manner in which the team fused to become greater than the sum of its parts. But things aren’t looking too rosy for La Roja ahead of this showdown at the Emirates.

As noted by Nick Dorrington of Bleacher Report, they suffered a shock defeat to Iran in their previous match and had few positives to take from it:
They should field a much stronger XI for this match, however, and they may have the support of the Emirates crowd with Alexis Sanchez poised to start for Jorge Sampaoli’s men. The Chilean has been a revelation since joining the Gunners and will desperate to put on a show for his nation at his home stadium.

The official Arsenal Twitter account are certainly excited by the prospect:
It’s difficult to see anything other than a comfortable win for Brazil here. They’ve been playing superb football under Dunga, and in their previous match, there were indications that this is a team at the start of an upward curve.
Chile can be difficult opponents and can play with the intensity to trouble any opponent. But those levels of ferocity have been far too scarce since the World Cup, and as such, Brazil will capitalise on La Roja's hesitation to notch a comfortable win at the Emirates.
Prediction: Brazil 3-1 Chile
