Barclays Premier League Table: Updated 2015 EPL Outlook After Week 29 Results
Manchester City squandered the chance to reduce Chelsea's lead in the Premier League title race to just two points. The Citizens were beaten 1-0 by Burnley at Turf Moor.
To complete City's nightmare day, Arsenal moved to within a point of second. The Gunners played some thrilling football to take West Ham United apart at the Emirates Stadium.
At the other end, Aston Villa really shook things up at the bottom of the Premier League after smashing four goals past a Sunderland side in free fall. Meanwhile, Leicester City failed to take advantage of an extra man at home to fellow strugglers Hull City.

Arsenal Hitting Form at Right Time
Arsenal's emphatic win means it's eight wins out of the last 10 matches in all competitions. Six of those have come in the league, proof manager Arsene Wenger's team is hitting top form at exactly the right time.
It helps when a player like midfield engine Aaron Ramsey is getting back to his best. The Welshman, who's been blighted by injuries this term, remains a key figure for the Gunners.
The 24-year-old certainly proved decisive against the hapless Hammers, per WhoScored.com:
If Ramsey can stay healthy, Arsenal will boast a midfield more than capable of inspiring a push to challenge Manchester City for second place and certainly cement a place in the top four.
Powerful form at home is proving to be the key to both, per Squawka:
With five of their remaining nine fixtures at home, the Gunners must make the most of the fortress-like solidity of the Emirates Stadium. Fellow top-four contenders Liverpool and Manchester United should know they'll find it hard to catch Wenger's in-form team.
Sunderland in Dire Straits
Perhaps Sunderland will beat the drop, but it'll only be by virtue of the porous form of those beneath them. That was obvious when previously goal-shy Villa tore through the Mackems in a stunning first-half salvo.
The abject display before the break set a new low for Sunderland, per Opta Joe:
Manager Gus Poyet's ageing and ineffective defence just couldn't handle Villa attackers Gabriel Agbonlahor and Christian Benteke:
The real problem for Poyet is that issues persist at both ends of the pitch. Wes Brown and company may be labouring to keep teams out at the back, but there's no help from an average forward line.
Poyet's team is now just a single point above the bottom three. Even if they beat the drop this season, Sunderland have to face facts and prepare for a massive overhaul of the squad this summer.
City's collapse may well have handed the title to Chelsea. The Stamford Bridge club stays five points in front but now has two games in hand.
That's too much for last season's champions to overcome. In fact, City may want to start looking over their shoulder at the rampaging Gunners.
