
Mike Ashley Fined £7,500 by Scottish FA for Rangers Influence
Newcastle United owner Mike Ashley has been fined £7,500 by the Scottish FA over dual ownership charges relating to his influence at Scottish Championship club Rangers.
As well as owning Newcastle, the 50-year-old Ashley also holds an 8.92 per cent stake in Rangers, and has been found to be in breach of rules relating to the holding of power at two football clubs.
