Tolfrey's actions sparked a melee involving both players and capped a bad-tempered game.

While it is unconfirmed what exactly sparked the brawl, Kingstonian's Josh Casey claimed on Twitter that Tolfrey had been punched in the face by a fan.

"

Massive well done to the Bognor fan that punched our keeper in the face 👏 it's a game of football...absolutely pathetic.

Another Twitter user had a bird's-eye view of the action.
