EPL Table: Latest Week 25 Results, Scores and 2015 Premier League Standings
Arsenal moved into fourth in the Premier League on Tuesday when they leapfrogged Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur after a 2-1 home win over Leicester City.
Spurs failed to keep their north London rivals behind them in the standings as they lost 3-2 at Liverpool. Mauricio Pochettino's men twice came from behind but failed to hang on for a point.
At the other end of the table, Hull City's 2-0 win over Aston Villa saw the Tigers out of the relegation zone, while the defeat for Paul Lambert's team saw them drop into 18th place after QPR managed to pick up their first away win of the season at Sunderland.

Wednesday Recap

Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United all won their Wednesday matches, with the Red Devils taking advantage of Southampton's draw against West Ham United to leap back into third place in the Premier League standings.
The Blues needed a last-minute goal from Willian to overcome a resilient Everton team, the first the Toffees conceded in a long time, via Squawka Football:
Despite the lack of goals, both teams served up an entertaining match on Wednesday, and for a long time, it looked as if Chelsea's lead at the top of the standings was about to shrink once again.
But a poor clearance fell to Willian in the final minute of regulation, and the Brazil international fired in a low shot that took a deflection and crept into the net. The midfielder has been one of the Blues' best in late-match situations this year, per OptaJoe:
Manchester City pulled away from Stoke City in the second half after a poor showing in the first, with Peter Crouch cancelling out Sergio Aguero's opener. The Argentine added a second goal via penalty in the second half, and strikes from Samir Nasri and James Milner put the final score of 4-1 on the board.
The Citizens redeemed themselves after a poor first half, but not everything went their way on Wednesday. Manuel Pellegrini substituted Aguero, who seemed to clutch his calf as he left the pitch, but according to the manager, the Argentinian had a back problem that doesn't look too serious, via Manchester Evening News' Stuart Brennan:
Manchester United struggled against a fiery Burnley side but pulled through thanks to a brace from Chris Smalling and a Robin van Persie penalty goal, winning 3-1.
Coupled with Southampton's scoreless draw against the Hammers, it means manager Louis van Gaal's prediction came true, as shared by the league's official Twitter feed (note: "whipping" is Dutch for hopping, for those of you who continue to be amazed with the Dutchman's language skills):
Crystal Palace and Newcastle United shared the spoils in Alan Pardew's first match against his former club, while West Bromwich Albion beat Swansea 2-0.
Tuesday Recap

Mario Balotelli's first league goal for Liverpool proved to be the winner for the Reds, as they beat Tottenham 3-2 to move to within three points of the top four.
A hard-fought, entertaining match saw Lazar Markovic's 15th-minute opener cancelled out by Harry Kane's strike. Mousa Dembele levelled again for the visitors just after the hour mark following Steven Gerrard's penalty.
Substitute Balotelli then finally made a telling contribution in a Liverpool shirt, turning home the winner from six yards in the 83rd minute for his first league goal of the season, per Opta:
As The Times' Oliver Kay indicates, it was a breathless match between two sides battling for a Champions League spot and sees the fight for third and fourth draw ever closer:
Arsenal's victory over bottom-of-the-table Leicester was somewhat nervy but was ultimately a decent response to their derby defeat to Spurs at the weekend.
Mesut Ozil was the key man, setting up both first-half goals, which saw the Gunners take a 2-0 lead into the break, per The Independent's Jack Pitt-Brooke:
The German's whipped corner was prodded home for the opener by Laurent Koscielny in the 27th minute. He then had a shot saved that was volleyed home by Theo Walcott for 2-0 four minutes from the break.
Andrej Kramaric's low finish to pull one back was deserved for the Foxes in the 61st minute, but the hosts hung on to their lead to pick up a key three points.

QPR managed to bag their own crucial three points and climb out of the relegation zone as they finally picked up a win on the road, having lost all 11 of their away games this season until Tuesday.
The west London side finally showed some spirit on their travels, and first-half goals from Leroy Fer and Bobby Zamora gave them a morale-boosting victory.
As The Times' George Caulkin notes, the Black Cats had their chances to respond but were undone by a weak first-half performance:
Villa's miserable league run continued on Tuesday—they haven't won in their last 10. They finally made their seemingly inevitable drop into the relegation zone when they were beaten 2-0 by Hull.
Steve Bruce's team climbed out of the bottom three courtesy of goals from Dame N'Doye—on his first club start—and Nikica Jelavic.
