Man Turns £2 Bet into £92,944 Payout for Guessing 14 Matches Correctly

Dean Clay turned a harmless £2 bet into a masterstroke that will affect his financial standing for the rest of his life. 

Clay, a Chelsea fan, threw down a £2 accumulator bet predicting 14 different outcomes over the weekend and managed to correctly pick every single one of them. 

The outcome? A cool £92,944 payout. 

Never in the history of football has someone been more excited about a 2-2 outcome between West Brom and Burnley (we assume). 

Clay's Twitter timeline is quite fascinating as the weekend's matches played out. 

Clay initially thought the figure was £69,000, then found out it was actually £92,944 with bonuses. 

He told Coral that he couldn't even watch Burnley vs. West Brom on Sunday with the stakes being as high as they were for him.

I decided to play some golf as I couldn't bear to watch the game and when I heard Burnley were winning 2-0, I thought it was game over. 

I was on the 16th hole when all the boys from the clubhouse came running down cheering and I knew I had won.

Clay, who is expecting his first child with his wife, says that he plans to invest his winnings in his newborn and the house they just bought. But, of course, he will also treat them to a "nice holiday".
