The Brooklyn Nets snapped the Chicago Bulls' seven-game winning streak with a 96-82 road win Tuesday night.
Brooklyn (15-16) has now won five of its last six games while the Bulls (22-10) dropped their first contest since Dec. 15.
After leading by seven following the first quarter, Chicago collapsed over the final three periods, mustering a mere 51 points during the game's last 36 minutes. In that same span, the Nets scored 72 points, including 31 in the second quarter.

Brook Lopez dropped a season-high 29 points on 13-of-21 shooting starting in place of Kevin Garnett (rest) while Joe Johnson (20 points, 11 rebounds, four assists) recorded his first double-double of the points and rebounds variety in more than six years, according to the Nets on Twitter.
As a team, the Nets shot 43 percent from the field and 43 percent from three while converting 86 percent (18-of-21) of their free throws.
The Bulls, meanwhile, were positively futile on offense after the first period.
Derrick Rose managed four points on 2-of-15 shooting (0-of-5 from three), which was the second-worst shooting performance of Rose's career (minimum 10 field-goal attempts), according to ESPN Chicago's Nick Friedell.
Jimmy Butler wasn't much better, totaling eight points on 3-of-12 shooting (0-of-3 from three). Mike Dunleavy led the Bulls with 23 points, 12 of which came in the first quarter.
Joakim Noah added 12 points and 12 rebounds while Pau Gasol chipped in 10 points and seven rebounds on a night when Chicago shot 38 percent from the field and 32 percent from three.
The Bulls will be back in action on New Year's Day against the Denver Nuggets while Brooklyn is slated to square off against the Orlando Magic on Friday.
