Arjen Robben Injury: Updates on Bayern Munich Star's Status and Return

Bayern Munich are once again dominating the Bundesliga this season thanks to the work of winger Arjen Robben, but the Bavarians will have to carry on without their star attacker. 

The veteran was forced out of action against Shakhtar Donetsk on Wednesday after he suffered an early injury. He has subsequently been ruled out of Bayern's encounter with Werder Bremen on Saturday.

Robben Departs Shakhtar Win Early with Injury

FCB faithful are undoubtedly crossing their fingers and hoping for a quick recovery. 

Robben's excellence is nothing new to fans of the club, as he has been dominant since making the jump from Real Madrid in 2009.

The Bedum, Netherlands, native is not only one of the best players in the world today, he is also one of the all-time greats in Bayern history.

He cemented that fact earlier this season when he scored his 100th career goal for the squad against SC Freiburg, per OptaFranz:

Pep Guardiola's side are stacked with talent that will allow them to have success for as long as Robben is out, but there is no question Bayern are better when he is raiding down their right flank.

Bayern truly boast an embarrassment of riches, so they should be able to maintain their lofty standing as long as the Bundesliga season rolls on.
