Sky Sports Reportedly to Pay Thierry Henry a Staggering £24M for Pundit Work

A lot of Arsenal fans were disappointed that Thierry Henry decided to join Sky Sports as a pundit after announcing his retirement, instead of returning to the Emirates as a coach.

They might understand it a little bit better when they learn just how much Henry will earn with the British channel.

According to the Daily Mail, Henry has signed a six-year deal with Sky worth a staggering £4 million a year.

That means Henry's salary eclipses that of Gary Neville, who is speculated by the paper to earn just £1.2 million a year.

Of course, Neville doubles that up by acting as a member of Roy Hodgson's backroom staff with England, and Henry admitted he would like to coach Arsenal at some stage in the future.

He is quoted by the paper as saying: "That is the plan, to go through that process, but we are far from that at the moment. Everyone is busy at Arsenal and nobody is going to stop what they’re doing for me."
