Each televised team will receive an "FA TV fee of £144,000 with the winning club picking up £67,500 from The FA Prize Fund," per the aforementioned report.
While this won't come close to paying Wayne Rooney's £300,000 weekly wages at United, Dover and AFC Wimbledon can count on a huge windfall when they step in front of the cameras.
Accrington Stanley and Yeovil have a second-round replay to traverse before either can dream of facing the Red Devils in a momentous home tie, and the stakes are huge with the aforementioned monetary boost in mind.
The bulk of this year's third-round action will take place on Jan. 3, with highlights to be provided by the BBC. Football writer Daniel Storey highlights something of a strange decision by the FA:

Attention will turn to the five live games once these fixtures are complete, ending with the Hammers' journey to Goodison Park.
The televised games offer three potential giant killings—always a major draw for neutral fans—alongside a repeat of last season's final, which saw Arsenal defeat Hull in a thrilling 3-2 encounter. Victory for either could provide confidence in otherwise stuttering seasons for both clubs.
Chelsea and Manchester City are current favourites to lift the trophy, per Oddschecker.com, but they will need to at least traverse the third round before their progress will feature in a live broadcast.
