Leicester Manager Nigel Pearson Charged for Insulting Behavior
Leicester City manager Nigel Pearson has been charged by the Football Association over a recent altercation with a fan during his side's 3-1 loss to Liverpool on Dec. 2.
Pearson was called out by a member of the crowd at the King Power Stadium and responded, and the FA have now charged the 51-year-old for his reaction, per Sky Sports:

Footage of the foul-mouthed incident has emerged on Vine, and it does appear that Pearson responded, perhaps unwisely, to abuse from a member of the crowd:
In the wake of the controversial altercation, the Leicester boss was unapologetic, suggesting it was not necessary to pursue the matter any further, per the Press Association (h/t The Guardian):
"I have had run-ins with fans in the past and in the heat of the moment these things happen and there won’t be any apology. Let’s put it like this, it’s best if we don’t speak about what happened on either side, I’m not going to repeat what happened here. I am very keen to protect my players and myself and I’m more than happy to stick up for myself in that situation and, more importantly protect my players, that’s the root cause of the problem. If people were offended by what happened in some ways that is regrettable but there’s no need for me to apologise to someone of that ilk.
"
The Foxes are enduring a tough season in the Premier League and currently sit bottom of the division after a run of 10 matches without a win.
No doubt the club could do without the recent controversy over Pearson's outburst but, having been charged, the Leicester boss now has until Dec. 16 to respond, per talkSPORT.
Leicester take on defending champions Manchester City at home in the English top flight on Saturday and must look to avoid another defeat or else they will be in serious danger of being cut adrift at the bottom of the league.
