EPL Table: Updated Premier League Standings, Fixtures, Title Odds After Week 14
There was very little change at the top of the Premier League table after Week 14's midweek matches on Tuesday and Wednesday, with Chelsea maintaining their six-point lead in first from Manchester City after both teams picked up victories.
Arsenal and Manchester United also claimed vital wins, while Liverpool look to be building some momentum after a torrid start to the season.
At the bottom of the league, Leicester and QPR continue to struggle as the season enters the crucial Christmas period.

Manchester City

Having gained two points on the Blues at the weekend as Jose Mourinho's side drew with Sunderland, City kept pace with the league leaders on Wednesday as they managed to claim a convincing 4-1 away win over the Black Cats.
Once again, Sergio Aguero was the main man for the Sky Blues. The Argentinian bagged a double while Pablo Zabaleta and Stevan Jovetic also scored after Connor Wickham had given the hosts an early lead.

An inconsistent run of results at the end of October and into November had led to much speculation that perhaps Chelsea were the only truly high-quality side in the Premier League this season.
However, four wins in a row for Manuel Pellegrini's side in all competitions—the latest two very convincing in nature—have shown that City may well be able to chase down Mourinho's men.
While a six-point gap is certainly still a comfortable margin for the Blues, if City keep winning they will increase the pressure on the league leaders and perhaps cause a slip-up.
Manchester United

Louis Van Gaal's coaching methods seem to be finally making an impact at Old Trafford, and Manchester United's 2-1 home win over Stoke on Tuesday was their fourth on the bounce.
It wasn't necessarily the most impressive of performances from the Red Devils, but it kept them in fourth place and United proved effective in breaking down a stubborn Stoke defence.
In front of their home crowd, goals from Juan Mata and a revitalised Marouane Fellaini secured the victory which came in the absence, through injury, of vital pair Wayne Rooney and Angel di Maria.
As the Manchester Evening News' Rob Dawson highlights, Michael Carrick's return from injury to take up the defensive midfield role again for United has made a huge difference. He has started each of the last four games and they have won every one:
United's form over the Christmas period will be vital in determining whether they can finish the season in the top four. Van Gaal's men must take on Southampton, Liverpool, Aston Villa, Newcastle and Tottenham before the year is out.
A tricky set of fixtures certainly, but their latest victory should give them some vital momentum going into the next few weeks.
Leicester City

Leicester don't seem to be able to buy a win at the moment. On Tuesday, they succumbed to their seventh defeat in nine matches as they were downed 3-1 at home by Liverpool.
Since they beat Manchester United 5-3 at the end of September, they have picked up just two points and now sit rock bottom of the league table, a point behind QPR.
With Aston Villa up next on Sunday, Nigel Pearson's men vitally need a win. The Times' Oliver Kay is predicting improvements soon:
However, with Manchester City and an in-form West Ham also to play before Christmas, anything other than a win against Villa could see the Foxes condemned to bottom of the table on Dec. 25, so often an indicator of eventual relegation.
It is going to be a tough season for Leicester and they need to turn their form around soon if they are to avoid being cut loose from their relegation rivals.
