EPL Table: Updated Premier League Standings, Fixtures, Title Odds After Week 13
The Premier League standings saw few changes at the top during Week 13, with almost all of the top contenders for the 2014-15 title emerging victorious from their respective matches. League-leaders Chelsea only managed a draw against Sunderland, but the Blues keep a healthy lead over Manchester City nonetheless.
The Citizens won the top clash against Southampton, 3-0, leaping over Saints in the standings and becoming Chelsea's closest competitors. Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool all won, the latter two clubs ending losing streaks in the process.

Chelsea

A goalless draw against Sunderland won't change much as far as Chelsea's title chances go—the oddsmakers still have the Blues as the runaway favourites. An undefeated start will do that for you.
Jose Mourinho's men looked absolutely dominant in midweek against Schalke 04. On Saturday, they were lacking the creativity that makes them such a dangerous side, as shared by The Independent's Miguel Delaney:
Teams can't be at their very best every single match, and the key is to salvage points even when you're not playing well. That's exactly what the Blues did on Saturday, and now they'll have the chance to bounce back with a solid performance against Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday.
It's far too early to anoint the Blues as Premier League champions, but until they start losing, don't expect Mourinho's troops to fall out of the top spot on the oddsmakers' tables.
Manchester City

A dominant performance with 10 men against one of the league's most in-form clubs is the best way to catch the attention of everyone, and City made it very clear on Sunday that they're still among the title favourites.
Southampton came into Week 13 with the league's top defence, but that didn't matter—the Citizens put three past Saints, including two after Eliaquim Mangala had been sent off. Football365's Daniel Storey believes City needed this kind of performance:
Manager Manuel Pellegrini and his squad have received some criticism for a lack of intensity and urgency at times this season, but a quick glance at the standings will tell you City trail Chelsea by just six points.
The defending champions are still very much alive in the title race, and a big win over one of the top-ranked teams is the best way to kick off the busy holiday period.
Speaking of Southampton—bet365 wondered how many points Saints will grab over the course of the next week. Judging by their result against City, it's a fair question:
Ronald Koeman's side has been fun to watch so far, but you can't overlook the fact they've played a relatively soft schedule and were badly exposed in the two top matches they've played so far (Chelsea and City).
Can Saints pull through against Arsenal or Manchester United? It looks like we're about to find out.
Manchester United

The gap between Chelsea and fourth-placed Manchester United is 11 points as it stands, which is significant but not insurmountable. The Red Devils suffered through a difficult start to the campaign, but three consecutive wins has everyone connected to the club believing in the project coach Louis van Gaal started over the summer.
The manager told reporters his squad's performance against Hull City was their best performance yet, as shared by the Sunday World's Kevin Palmer:
United are starting to look like the team people had envisioned when Van Gaal took charge, but fans shouldn't start getting carried away just yet. The Red Devils are still flawed, and on paper at least, Chelsea and City still have better, more complete squads.
The club's biggest obstacle to the 2014-15 title is the fact they're trailing two teams whose form has been just as good, or even better, as United. Neither Chelsea nor City have lost in their last four outings, and until they start dropping points, the Red Devils can't realistically count themselves among the title favourites.
Arsenal

Arsenal sit just two points behind United. Looking at form, though, the Gunners have a lot more questions to answer. The defence finally looked solid in the team's 1-0 win over West Bromwich Albion, but one good match won't excuse a season of struggles.
Injuries have been the main reasons for said struggles, and until the Gunners get healthy, there shouldn't even be any talk of the Premier League title. Sections of the fans still want Arsene Wenger out, via Eat My Goal.tv, a testament to the fact all is not well at the Emirates:
When healthy, Arsenal have the talent to finish in the top four, particularly with the likes of Liverpool and Tottenham struggling. But Wenger doesn't have the sheer quality or depth at his disposal to challenge Chelsea and City for the title, and fans must pray nothing happens to Alexis Sanchez.
The Chile international has been the club's most valuable player by a clear mile—if he's forced to miss time, the Gunners have no one who can step in and adequately fill the role of club hero.
