Gael Kakuta scored the only goal in Rayo Vallecano's 1-0 win over Almeria on Monday, closing out Matchday 13 in style. Reacting well to a superb cross, the 23-year-old riffled the ball into the top of the net, as shared by this fan:

Barcelona relied on an unlikely hero to get past Valencia on Sunday, as Sergio Busquets scored the team's only goal in their 1-0 win.
The Spain international had the ball fall to his feet after a wild scramble inside the Valencia deep in injury time, after Neymar had failed to put a header past Diego Alves from point-blank range. As shared by Goal's Ben Hayward, what followed next is a mystery even to the man himself:
The hosts were furious when the goal was finally scored, as the officials kept giving corner kicks to the Blaugrana deep in injury time. They'll feel less aggrieved when they watch the replay of the match, however, as the Catalans had a correct wrongfully taken away from them earlier in the match.
Luis Suarez kept himself onside beautifully to tuck the ball past Alves in the second half, but the goal was called back regardless, via Bleacher Report UK:
Carlos Bacca was the big man for Sevilla, scoring twice in his team's 5-1 dismantling of Granada. Controversy surrounded his first, the opening goal, as Granada goalkeeper Roberto Fernandez appeared to be obstructed inside his six-yard box:
The Colombia international couldn't care less, however, showing his great instincts to react quickest and slot the ball home.
Ever Banega doubled the hosts' lead before Bacca struck again, and Stephane M'Bia and Kevin Gameiro completed the rout.
Saul Niguez and Arda Turan gave hosts Atletico Madrid reason to celebrate, bagging a goal each to hand their team the 2-0 win over Deportivo La Coruna. The match was overshadowed by incidents outside the stadium, however, resulting in the death of one of the visiting supporters.
Manager Diego Simeone strongly condemned the behaviour of all supporters involved, via AS English:
Villarreal recorded an easy 2-0 win over Cordoba, with Luciano Dario Vietto and Ikechukwu Uche scoring the goals for the visitors.
It was Cristiano Ronaldo's turn to play provider for Real Madrid on Saturday, handing out assists to Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale during Los Blancos 2-1 win over Malaga.
The result marked the 16th consecutive victory for Real, a new club record, as reported by ESPN FC's Dermot Corrigan:
The hosts gave Real a real battle from the opening whistle, ensuring the record-setting win would be the toughest of them all. That didn't stop Los Blancos from opening the score, however, with Benzema smartly moving ahead of his marker after some nifty footwork from Ronaldo.
This fan shared the Vine of the goal:
Welsh speedster Gareth Bale turned on the heat after a smart header from the Portuguese superstar seven minutes before the end of the match, blowing past the defenders before slotting the ball home.
As shared by this fan, Bale pretty much outran the entire defence:

Malaga appeared to be all but defeated, but they were given a lifeline when Isco was sent off with a second yellow card for tripping Samuel Castillejo from behind. The verdict appeared harsh, as the midfielder had some of the ball, but despite extensive protests, the official remained unmoved.
The man-advantage gave new life to the hosts, who pulled one back in stoppage time through Roque Santa Cruz. Real held on for the win, however, sparking wild celebrations on the sidelines.
Afterwards, Ancelotti refused to take credit for the incredible record, pointing to his players as the reason for his success, per Corrigan:
Benat Etxebarria set up Iker Muniain for Athletic Bilbao's first goal and scored the second himself, as the surging Basques held on for a 2-1 win over Getafe.
After a difficult start to the season, Athletic suddenly find themselves in the eight, just two matches outside of Europa League contention.
Etxebarria's free-kick goal was as subtle as they come, via Betis.mobi:
Espanyol had to come from behind to beat Levante 2-1 on Saturday, maintaining a healthy gap between themselves and the relegation zone.
Celta Vigo lost Saturday's final fixture 1-0 at home against Eibar, while the likes of Atletico Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia will play on Sunday.
Vela needed exactly three minutes to open his account on Friday, finding acres of space between the Elche defenders to send the Estadio Anoeta into a frenzy with a perfect header.
SportsJOE.ie had the Vine of the goal:
Elche saw plenty of the ball in the first half and even had a handful of chances, but Jonathas and company had difficulty getting the ball on target. Przemyslaw Tyton wasn't troubled by any long-range shots and needed to stop a single free kick, but he had an otherwise quiet evening.
The hosts were happy to defend the lead and break on the counter-attack, and they doubled their advantage after 32 minutes.
Xabi Prieto launched a delightful pass over the top, and Vela timed his run beautifully to score his second of the night. The Final Third were impressed with the pass:
The visitors had two chances to reduce the deficit on either side of the half-time whistle, but Jonathas and Adrian Gonzalez couldn't get their efforts on target. The continued to push forward with numbers, but with their full-backs out of position, they were exposed out wide.
It didn't come as a surprise that Vela's third took advantage of said spaces, but the former Arsenal man still did well to finish from a tight angle. Purely Football had footage of the final goal:
As shared by ESPN FC's Dermot Corrigan, it didn't take long for Moyes' influence to boost the Mexican forward:
The hosts received a standing ovation from the fans at the Anoeta, who haven't had too many opportunities to celebrate in the 2014-15 season.
Via Inside La Liga, the club's current run is already their best:
Incredibly enough, the former Manchester United boss wasn't entirely satisfied with the match, as he criticised the officials from being too quick on the whistle, via Corrigan:
Moyes has made an excellent start to his career in Spain, as the win sees the Basques put a three-point gap between themselves and the relegation zone.
Vela's three-goal outburst sees him move into the top 10 of the scorer's rankings, level with a number of players who have scored five goals this season.
