Must-Watch Matchups
Everton vs. West Ham United
In some ways, Everton and West Ham appear to have swapped roles this Premier League season. The Toffees are currently vying for a mid-table spot and sit 10th while Sam Allardyce's men have enjoyed a superb start and launched a surprise attack on the top four.

However, the Hammers risk seeing their five-match unbeaten streak come to an end at Goodison Park on Saturday, and with just four points separating fourth from 12th, a defeat would be costly.
Ex-Southampton star and Sky Sports pundit Matt Le Tissier has taken to referring to West Ham as Champions League contenders, but the slightest slip in form would end those dreams all too quickly:
After a slow start, Roberto Martinez's side are on a run of their own, and a 1-1 draw at Sunderland last time out was their sixth successive unbeaten outing across all competitions.
One particularly significant battle on Merseyside this Saturday takes place in central midfield. James McCarthy is a doubt for Everton while Gareth Barry is sidelined; however, Barcelona writer Jason Pettigrove notes the impact of Alex Song's arrival at Upton Park:
The on-loan anchorman will hope his good form continues in Allardyce's engine room, and the list of absentees in Everton's core promises to give him an easier time in mounting some midfield momentum.
Prediction: Everton 2-2 West Ham United
Arsenal vs. Manchester United
As if injury concerns haven't been difficult enough for Manchester United in recent months, Louis van Gaal faces a testing trip to the Emirates Stadium on Saturday with a raft of his stars still missing.

Rafael, Daley Blind and Marcos Rojo will miss out, with Jonny Evans and Phil Jones doubts for the trip, but David de Gea and Michael Carrick are hoping to make their returns.
Luke Shaw suffered a hamstring strain on England duty and adds to that list of injury worries, but the left-back has urged the club's sidelined stars to grip their chance in north London, per the Telegraph's Matt Law:
"I think it’s time for people to step up. The players who are not getting game time, who are frustrated on the bench, can come in for a massive game like Arsenal that everyone will want to play in. We know we’ve picked up a lot of injuries, especially in defence, where it’s always changing each time.
We’ve obviously picked up another injury with Daley Blind, but we’ve got to deal with that and try to get around this week and go firing into the Arsenal game. Everyone will be working hard and focusing on this weekend and come Saturday we’ll be ready to go.
"
This Saturday also signals a first fixture against his former team-mates for the Gunners' Danny Welbeck since completing his summer move to England's capital.
The forward came off early in England's 3-1 win over Scotland on Tuesday, but James Olley of the London Evening Standard says Welbeck should be fit to feature:
Now that he's under Arsene Wenger's command, the former Red Devil must put all emotional ties to one side in the hopes of creating daylight between the two clubs.
Bleacher Report's Sam Tighe and Ryan Bailey have examined how Arsenal can take advantage of United's injury troubles:
Coming into the clash, Arsenal and United are in sixth and seventh respectively, with only a point separating the pair. Welbeck has done a satisfactory job of easing the blow caused by Olivier Giroud's injury, but he'll really endear himself to the Arsenal fans with a win against some familiar faces.
Prediction: Arsenal 2-1 Manchester United
Aston Villa vs. Southampton

Perhaps more surprising than West Ham's unexpected success in 2014-15 has been the rise of Southampton, who remain lodged in second place prior to their Villa Park expedition.
A Monday night fixture in Birmingham gives the Saints that much extra time to see their international stars reintegrate following the break, hoping to claim their fifth win in succession.
As Sky Sports News HQ shows, three points in Birmingham are a dire necessity when examining the difficult schedule that awaits Ronald Koeman's men this winter:
Villa will be far from the most dangerous hosts Southampton have faced, though, and after a goalless October, Paul Lambert's men now boast the worst home attack in the division, averaging 0.6 goals per game at Villa Park.
As attractive as the south coast outfit have been in recent months, fine defence is a large part of their continued surge up the ranks. Per OptaJoe, Fraser Forster has been a difficult figure to score past this term:
The dream of usurping Chelsea's throne at the table's summit may be a long shot, but Southampton have been magnificent in amassing a four-point cushion in second, and even a loss this weekend can't see them fall.
Such thoughts won't be in Koeman's mind, however, with the pressure on Lambert to pull his Villans back to winning ways after taking just one point from their last seven games.
Prediction: Aston Villa 1-3 Southampton
