Daily Fantasy Football Week 11: Best Lineup Advice, Matchups for 1-Week Leagues
There's a good chance that if you had Aaron Rodgers or Marshawn Lynch last week, you absolutely dominated your one-week league. That's both the blessing and the curse of the one-week format—it only takes one pick to win.
And in turn, it only takes one pick for somebody else to win, too.
So darn it, make sure you get that pick right! While I can't guarantee my advice will lead you to glory and prominence and shoutouts on commercials, I can offer my guidance for your one-week lineup this week. Below, I'll share my two lineups for this week and break down some of the matchups I'm looking to exploit.

Matchups To Exploit

As you can see based on the players I chose for both sites, there are a few matchups I think you should absolutely target when you're picking your team this week.
First of all, having one of Aaron Rodgers, Jordy Nelson or Randall Cobb is probably a pretty good idea. While Rodgers is going to take up a big chunk of your budget if you go that route, he's virtually guaranteed to have a huge game against a Philadelphia Eagles defense that has given up 19 passing touchdowns this season, tied for 28th in the NFL.
The Eagles have also given up 18.4 fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks per week in standard leagues (29th in the NFL) and 25.2 fantasy points to opposing wideouts per contest (30th). If you can figure out a way to budget Rodgers, Nelson or Cobb into your lineup, do it.
I like pretty much every position outside of tight end for the Atlanta Falcons this week. The Carolina Panthers are 27th in fantasy points allowed to quarterbacks per week in standard leagues, 28th against running backs and 26th against wide receivers. Matt Ryan, Julio Jones (obviously), Roddy White and Steven Jackson are all worth your consideration this week.
The Washington football team has plenty of appealing options as well. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are 28th in fantasy points allowed to quarterbacks per week in standard leagues, 22nd against running backs and 32nd against wide receivers. Alfred Morris and DeSean Jackson are excellent options, while Robert Griffin III and Pierre Garcon are interesting value selections if you don't mind rolling the dice a bit.
Are you looking for a really deep cut at tight end? Assuming he returns to action this week, consider Kyle Rudolph against the floundering Chicago Bears. In their last five games, the Bears have allowed 38 receptions for 440 yards and nine touchdowns to opposing tight ends.
Are you looking for a somewhat deep cut at running back? The return of Ryan Mathews should appeal to you. In his return to action he faces an Oakland Raiders defense that has allowed opposing running backs to total 20 or more fantasy points in seven of nine games this year in standard leagues.
Speaking of running backs, you can get pretty decent bang for the buck from Morris, Jackson, Frank Gore and Mark Ingram, while studs like Matt Forte and Le'Veon Bell should be worth every penny given favorable matchups this week.

And pay attention to the injury reports, folks, because if Giovani Bernard can't go, Jeremy Hill offers great value this week.
Meanwhile, many of the top receivers in football this week all have great matchups and seem worth their high cap hit. The players already mentioned above, along with A.J. Green, Demaryius Thomas, Emmanuel Sanders, Calvin Johnson and even Kelvin Benjamin are all worth a look.
There you have it, folks. As always, may the points be with you!
All points-against statistics via ESPN standard-scoring leagues. Hit me up on Twitter—I'll answer your fantasy questions and make some corny jokes, too. It's more fun than a passing drill against the Chicago Bears defense.
