Sergio Aguero got Manchester City out of jail against QPR, as he notched his 11th and 12th goals of the Premier League season to salvage a 2-2 draw for the champions at Loftus Road.
Diego Costa helped Chelsea to a 2-1 win at Anfield, netting his 10th goal of the campaign. The former Atletico Madrid forward scored the winning goal midway through the second half to give the Blues a vital victory over Liverpool; the Blues are now 15 points clear of the Merseyside outfit in the league standings.
On Sunday, Alexis Sanchez continued his exceptional recent form when Arsenal took on Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium. But it was a bittersweet day for the Chilean, as the Welsh outfit rallied from a goal down to beat the Gunners 2-1 at the Liberty Stadium.

Sensational Sanchez Can't Save Arsenal

The Gunners let a lead slip for the second time in a week, losing 2-1 to Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium. Sanchez gave Arsenal a second half advantage after finishing off a fine counter-attacking move, but it wasn't enough to take the three points back to London, as goals from Gylfi Sigurdsson and Bafetimbi Gomis turned the match on its head.
After a start to the campaign that has seen Arsenal win just four of their opening 11 games, the performances of Sanchez have been a rare plus point for Arsene Wenger. But the Arsenal boss will concerned at how reliant his team are becoming on the Chilean, and how much of a predicament the Gunners would be in without him.
Squawka gives us an indication of just how vital the forward has been to Arsenal as of late:
Sanchez is a talent that looks tailor-made for English football, and if he had a few more players around him that were performing to their level, then his goals could have been the platform for an excellent start to the season for the Gunners. Instead, Arsenal are undoing all of his excellent work with rudimentary defensive errors and naive tactical application.

Ultimately, Arsenal are paying the price for Wenger's inability to bolster his defensive options in the transfer window and you suspect the perpetual problems at the back won't be addressed in earnest until January. With that in mind, the Emirates faithful may have to brace themselves for a few more disappointing results, but in the meantime, they will surely indulge in the magnificent exploits of their No. 17.
Aguero Leads the Way

The Manchester City forward scored a sensational equaliser for his team at Loftus Road, taking him on to 11 goals for the season and putting him out on his own in the race for the golden boot. The genial Argentine plucked a long pass out of the air before shimmying past two QPR defenders and finishing expertly past Robert Green.
And when QPR retook the lead in the second half, Aguero again came to the fore, finishing expertly late to secure a valuable point for his side.
OptaJoe provided us with an insight into just how prolific the Argentine has been recently:
After injuries blighted Aguero's season throughout 2013/14, we're seeing the very best of him in the current campaign. His movement, touch and technical ability have supporters purring across the globe, and at this juncture, he seems to be single-handedly dragged Manuel Pellegrini's team to results.

Currently, there a few better forwards on the planet than the former Atletico Madrid man, and if he were to pick up an injury, his team look as though they'd be in deep, deep trouble. Pellegrini will be desperate for some of his other players to showcase the same application as the Premier League's top marksman and keep his side in contention for the championship.
Diego Costa in to Double Figures

After splashing £32 million to bring the Atletico Madrid man to England, there are few who could have anticipated quite the impact he would have made in the Premier League. Costa netted his 10th goal of the season against Liverpool, the winner in a 2-1 victory for Chelsea, and it was a goal that capped a robust, bustling performance at the sharp end of the Blues attack.
Here's a breakdown of Costa's season so far, per Squawka:
The Spanish international battled with Martin Skrtel throughout the afternoon, and although the imposing Slovakian got the better of things for the majority of the contest, Costa only needed one chance to make his mark on proceedings. With the score poised at 1-1, the 26-year-old finished excellently midway through the second half after superb work from Cesar Azpilicueta.

Chelsea have myriad intricate offensive players, but Costa's physicality has given them a refreshing edge in their forward forays this season. He's been the man that's netted at vital times for the Blues during this stellar campaign, and if he keeps up his prolific form, then Jose Mourinho's men look likely to waltz away with the Premier League title.
