Newcastle vs. Liverpool: Date, Time, Live Stream, TV Info and Preview
Newcastle will be looking to take their terrific current form into this weekend's Premier League clash against Liverpool at St James' Park as the Magpies aim to move further away from the relegation zone.
Alan Pardew's side have won two on the bounce in the English top flight to move up to 14th in the division and claimed a brilliant 2-0 away win against Manchester City on Wednesday in the Capital One Cup.
Conversely, Liverpool are struggling somewhat for consistency in the Premier League, having not wholly convinced in winning just two of their last six encounters.

Pardew Responding to Criticism

Early on in the season, Newcastle looked like a team bereft of ideas as they failed to pick up a victory in their opening seven league matches.
It was the continuation of a terrible run at the back end of last term, a fact Newcastle's fans illustrated perfectly as they visited Swansea in early October, per Fox Soccer:
Manager Pardew was under increasing pressure in his job, but since their visit to South Wales, he has responded in the best way possible.
Newcastle claimed a first win of the season at home to Leicester before Pardew's substitutions turned around a 1-0 deficit at White Hart Lane last time out, per football writer Daniel Storey:
After his side's unlikely League Cup win in midweek, Pardew assured all Newcastle's fans that he knows what he's doing, per BBC Sport:
"This was a victory for our fans. It's important for us that we just keep this momentum going. I do know what I'm doing. I think I've had most of the scalps as Newcastle manager, maybe except Arsenal and I look forward to playing them next.
"
While the visit of Liverpool is not likely to be any easy game, the Reds look vulnerable having drawn 0-0 with Hull last time out.
Pardew and his team can certainly be hopeful of taking something away from Saturday's match and, on current form, a victory is a real possibility.
Balotelli Conundrum Continues

Mario Balotelli finally broke his goal drought on Tuesday, coming off the bench to equalise as Liverpool beat Swansea 2-1 in the Capital One Cup.
However, the 24-year-old Italian is still yet to score for the Reds in the league and has been largely shocking in front of goal, most recently missing a sitter late on against Hull which would have handed Liverpool the win.
It is vital to the Anfield outfit's prospects this season that Balotelli finds some form, and St James' Park would be a terrific place to start as Liverpool hunt a much-needed win.
However, issues at the back are of potentially greater concern for Brendan Rodgers, per football writer Miguel Delaney:
Newcastle's attack has been in fine form recently, and if Liverpool fail to keep them out they will struggle to win Saturday's game.
The same fixture last season ended in a 2-2 draw, and a repeat result is certainly not out of the question. If that does indeed come to pass, Newcastle will certainly return home the happier side as Liverpool must be looking to take three points back to Merseyside.
