Bryce Brown's Fantasy Outlook After C.J. Spiller, Fred Jackson Injuries
Earlier in this week, Bryce Brown told Mike Rodak of ESPN.com that "I expected to play and I expected to play right away," after he was traded from the Philadelphia Eagles to the Buffalo Bills this offseason. Instead, he's been inactive for all seven of the team's games.
That's about to change in a hurry, however, as both Fred Jackson and C.J. Spiller left Sunday's game against the Minnesota Vikings with what appeared to be serious injuries, as the team's official Twitter account revealed:

While Anthony Dixon appears to be next up on the pecking order in Buffalo, there's no question that Brown has far more upside and has proven to be the more dangerous player in the past.
Following the injury, Jackson spoke on Brown's abilities to carry the load:
In two seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles, Brown averaged a healthy 4.6 yards per carry, rushing 190 times for 878 yards and six scores. An excellent one-cut runner who bounces off tackles and can take the ball to the house every time he touches it, Brown could end up being a huge addition for your team on waivers.

During the preseason, Bills head coach Doug Marrone stated Brown "had the potential to start in the NFL," according to Kevin Patra of NFL.com.
There are two factors to consider when it comes to Brown, however.
For starters, the fact that he hasn't even been active for a game despite being healthy means the Bills either haven't been terribly high on him this season or haven't envisioned a role for him in their offense with Spiller and Jackson entrenched as pillars in the weekly game plan.
And Brown also has an Achilles heel—he has four fumbles in his career and has lost three of them, all in 2012. While he was better in that regard last season, his fumbling concerns are worth considering.
Still, the talent is there to make Brown a potential waiver-wire MVP if Spiller and Jackson are either done for the year or out for a lengthy period of time. Dixon may be given the job in the short term, but Brown is talented enough to win the job over him rather quickly. The Bills traded a conditional fourth-round pick for Brown, so they might want to see what he can do.
If you are debating over which player to add this week, go with Brown.
