Setting the Standard: A Rangers Fan's Project for Improving the Club
Fans are always passionate about their club, and for the most part are at loggerheads with the board running the club the wrong way, as the fans see it. Several Rangers' fans have developed a Project plan to ’set the standard’ that the club should take on board and implement. While it can be seen as a criticism of the current workings at the Ibrox club, it does offer the right sort of criticism—constructive.
Gersnet have taken the initiative, rather than to just criticise the club and note one or two points which the club should be doing, they have actively produced a proposal to better all aspects of the club, with the help of Rangers' fans across the world as well as neutrals with the relevant experience to provide some insight in certain fields.
While it has not been handed over to Rangers' Football Club yet, when it does, the board should take a thorough look at it and work out all aspects of the plan rather than just file it amongst other papers to gather dust.

Stewart Franklin of GersnetOnline.co.uk states, “the Setting the Standard project is all about positive debate for the betterment of Rangers Football Club. Many Rangers' supporters have already taken part and are interested in finding out more about the suggestions they offer.”
And I have to say that such a proposal could be utilised by other clubs, not just Rangers' Football Club and maybe it is time the head honchos and money men at clubs up & down the country, sat down with the fans to actively solve the ongoing problems that are affecting our game at the moment. It’s all well and good saying "we think we know what the fans want," but its better to hear "straight from the horses mouth" as they say.
