Another massive weekend of Premier League action is in the books as Week 13 came to a close on Sunday.

League-leading Arsenal opened up with a bang on Saturday afternoon, beating Cardiff City in Wales to maintain their lead over Liverpool and Chelsea. Aaron Ramsey scored twice for the Gunners, and Wojciech Szczesny and company defended brilliantly down the stretch to secure three points for the 10th time this season.

With Arsenal now comfortably ahead heading into Wednesday's matchup with Hull City in Holloway, here's a look at the latest league standings:

Elsewhere on Saturday, Everton topped Stoke City with ease to pick up three points and continue their upward journey in the table. Gerard Deulofeu broke the deadlock in the waning moments of the first half and Seamus Coleman sealed the deal just moments after the halftime break to bury the Potters at Goodison Park. Bryan Oviedo would add a third score, and Romelu Lukaku would net his eighth of the season to complete the 4-0 rout.

Roberto Martinez's Toffees sent a message to the rest of the league's top clubs with their overpowering performance and proved that they're a threat to finish in the top four at season's end.

Norwich City earned a much-needed victory on Saturday as well, beating hapless Crystal Palace 1-0 on the strength of Gary Hooper's first-half strike. The narrow result elevates the Canaries to the middle of the league table but also serves as a harsh reminder that it's not going to get any easier moving forward, especially against Liverpool at Anfield in Week 14.

Meanwhile, Aston Villa squandered a golden opportunity to pick up three points at home, drawing 0-0 with last-place Sunderland. The result marks just the second time this season that the Black Cats have been able to avoid a loss on the road.

In the battle of two struggling clubs, West Ham United got the better of Fulham, throttling the Cottagers 3-0 at The Boleyn Ground to earn just their third win this season.

Saturday's final fixture saw Newcastle United top West Brom 2-1 at St. James' Park after Moussa Sissoko answered Chris Brunt's equalizer with the go-ahead goal in the 57th minute.

Matchday 13 will concluded with four matches on Sunday. Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur played to a 2-2 draw at White Hart Lane in the early match as Wayne Rooney equalized twice for the visiting Red Devils.

Hull City shutdown Luis Suarez and Liverpool, winning 3-1 thanks to an own goal from Martin Skrtel in the waning moments.

Sunday's action wrapped up with Chelsea and Manchester City earning impressive wins at home. The Blues conceded an early goal to Southampton but responded brilliantly following the halftime break, scoring three unanswered goals in the final 35 minutes to win 3-1.

Meanwhile, Samir Nasri scored twice as the Citizens thrashed Swansea City 3-0 at Etihad Stadium.

Week 14 is just 48 hours away as Crystal Palace and West Ham are scheduled to kick off on Tuesday.
