Kostas Mitroglou Yet to Receive Transfer Offer from Arsenal or Liverpool
Olympiacos forward Kostas Mitroglou is yet to receive an official approach from either Arsenal or Liverpool, according to the club's manager.
Jose Miguel Michel delivered an update on the in-form striker Thursday, reported by Nick Lustig of the Daily Star:
"We’ve known for some time that there has been interest from many clubs. But that’s only logical considering how well he has been doing lately.
There have been no concrete proposals so far, but if he keeps on doing well, it’s going to be hard to keep him.

Wenger confirmed earlier in the week that Arsenal were aware of Mitroglou's talent, although he stopped short of saying he would make an approach in January.
The Frenchman isn't the only one considering a move for the forward, however, after David Maddock of Mirror Football reported earlier in November that Liverpool had sent scouts to watch the player.
Speaking to Eurosport (h/t Lustig) this week, the Gunners boss said:
"At Arsenal we know him well because we have played against Olympiakos in the Champions League. He has both physical presence and the ability to finish in the box."
Wenger is correct in his assessment of Arsenal's recent history against the player, Olympiacos having drawn Arsenal in the group stage of last season's Champions League as well as in the 2009/10 campaign.
In those four appearances, Mitroglou scored two goals against the North London giants, both of which came in the two most recent encounters, including the winner in his side's 2-1 triumph last December, per Transfermarkt.co.uk.
This season, the 25-year-old has 17 goals from just 14 starts across all competitions and has helped his club to a six-point cushion at the top of the Greek Super League.
As tenacious as they come concerning strikers, Mitroglou's most comfortable position would be as a No. 9, but his versatile manner also makes him adept at playing off the main forward.
Although not always the most technically gifted of talents, the Greek-German's physical attributes often make up for his shortcomings, boasting a terrier-like willingness to hound down the opposition.
Olivier Giroud is in fine form for Arsenal at the moment, but there's a concern at the Emirates Stadium that the likes of Nicklas Bendtner and Serge Gnabry don't offer sufficient cover in attack.
If Mitroglou were to leave his current surroundings, he'd be following in the footsteps of former Olympiacos teammate Kevin Mirallas, now at Everton, after impressing with his scoring touch back in Greece.
As things stand, both Wenger and Michel seem open to the idea of the striker's move, with speculation around the forward's fate sure to heat up as long as he continues his current form in front of goal.
