Los Angeles Clippers vs. Oklahoma City Thunder: Live Score and Analysis
Led by Kevin Durant and his 28 points, the Oklahoma City Thunder (8-3) had little trouble knocking off the Los Angeles Clippers (8-5) on Thursday night, winning fairly convincingly by a final score of 105-91.
OKC shot 51.9 percent from the field, which was 10.6 percent better than the Clippers (41.3).
On top of his 28 points, Durant also contributed eight assists and six rebounds. Serge Ibaka added 17 points of his own, shooting 8-of-10 from the field and blocking three shots.
Russell Westbrook had a rough night at the office, scoring just 12 points on 3-of-10 shooting. He also missed all six of his attempts from behind the arc.
Chris Paul (17 points, 12 assists and five rebounds) extended his streak of double-doubles (points and assists) to start a season to 13 games, which is two higher than the previous record set by Lakers legend Magic Johnson.
Blake Griffin (27 points, 10 rebounds and five assists) continued to show a more refined offensive game against Oklahoma City, hitting jumpers, attacking the rim and working the post. He's now had a 20-and-10 double-double in 10 of his last 12 outings.
Unfortunately, it wasn't enough to carry the Clippers to victory on this night.
The Thunder will now have three days off before they go up against the struggling Utah Jazz on November 24, while the Clippers will head home to host the Sacramento Kings on Saturday night.
Final Score: Oklahoma City Thunder 105, Los Angeles Clippers 91
