Texas A&M vs. LSU: TV Info, Spread, Injury Updates, Game Time and More
One of college football's most highly-anticipated matchups comes Saturday from Baton Rouge when Johnny Manziel and the No. 12 Texas A&M Aggies visit the No. 22 LSU Tigers.
LSU suffered its third loss to fall to 7-3 after a trip to Tuscaloosa last week ended in a 38-17 rout at the hands of No. 1 Alabama. If it's any consolation, Saturday's home game marks the end of the toughest stretch of the year.
The Aggies have an 8-2 record and enter Tiger Stadium on a three-game winning streak. Manziel most recently waxed Mississippi State for 446 yards and five touchdowns. Texas A&M still has a date with No. 8 Missouri to end the season.
There's plenty on the line Saturday in the SEC West and BCS standings. Here's a look at the key points to know for the weekend's best matchup.

Can LSU Keep Manziel Off the Field?
Defenses can't stop Manziel. In seven of 10 games, he has thrown for three or more scores. He's scored two or more total touchdowns in every game.
How can LSU stop Manziel?
Learn from last week.
The Crimson Tide showed the Tigers a blueprint. Rather than let its secondary deal with Zach Mettenberger and the LSU offense, Alabama ran lengthy scoring drives in the second half to pull away. LSU gained over 230 yards of offense on 32 plays in the first half—Alabama put the clamps on after the break, and LSU managed 53 yards on 22 plays.
Luckily for the Tigers, they're equipped with the perfect weapon to implement this strategy—running back Jeremy Hill.
The Texas A&M coaching staff is well aware of the threat Hill presents as illustrated by the team's Twitter account:
The Aggies have every right to be afraid—the defense allows over 210 rushing yards per game, good for the SEC’s second-worst rush defense. Hill is tops in the conference with his 6.8 per-carry average. He has 964 yards and 13 touchdowns on the year.
If LSU can learn from its shortcomings, Manziel may be on the sideline longer than he's accustomed.
Prediction
Remember last season between these two? Expect more of the same.
Last year Manziel looked human in front of his home crowd in College Station as he threw for 276 yards and three interceptions.
Guess who was the star of the day in LSU's 24-19 victory?
Hill and his 127 yards and a touchdown on 18 carries. Despite 13 penalties for 102 yards, the Tigers withstood the offensive onslaught from the Aggies.
This year the Tigers are at home. Manziel's playing better than ever, but so is Hill. The Tigers will ride their star running back to a close win.
Final Score: Tigers 38, Aggies 35
