Premier League Top Scorers Week 11: Updated EPL List After Saturday

Greg JohnsonJun 8, 2018

Sergio Aguero looks set to become the leading scorer in Week 11 of the Premier League. With the Argentine level on goals with Daniel Sturridge and Luis Suarez heading into Manchester City's Sunday game against Sunderland, a likely score will solidify his claim to the top.

Other potential climbers who are in action on Sunday include Newcastle United's Loic Remy, who will be looking to puncture Tottenham Hotspur's latest defensive form, and Robin van Persie and Aaron Ramsey, who will line up on opposing sides in Manchester United and Arsenal's encounter at Old Trafford.

Wayne Rooney, Olivier Giroud and Yaya Toure can also jump up the rankings, should they find the net in their teams' respective matches on the second day of Week 11's fixture list.

Of Saturday's scorers, Suarez was the man who stood out most in the list with his home brace against Fulham, allowing him to bridge the gap with his prolific Liverpool strike partner, Sturridge.

Both of Brendan Rodgers' first-choice forwards now boast eight goals each in the Premier League as the Reds seek to reassert their presence in the top four this year.

Elsewhere, the scorer of Chelsea's controversial penalty against West Bromwich Albion at Stamford Bridge, Eden Hazard, joined the four-goal club, with Ramires' soft tumble in the box paying dividends for the highly rated winger.

There were goals for Rickie Lambert and Adam Lallana in Southampton's 4-1 win over Hull City, which bumped them up to four goals and three goals respectively in the overall standings as their club climbed up to third in the Premier League table.

West Ham United's Ravel Morrison also scored his third goal of the season in Week 11 with a strike that also earned him the impressive feat of having scored three goals from just three shots in the league so far.

With Andy Carroll out injured, such efficiency in front of the goal will come in handy for Sam Allardyce's team as they look to bounce back in Week 12 from their 3-1 away loss to Norwich City at Carrow Road.

Below is an updated table of the Premier League's top scorers after the first day of games in Week 11:
