Werder Bremen 3-3 Nurnberg
1 of 7Werder Bremen and Nurnberg fought out a thrilling 3-3 draw on Sunday, a result which lifts the latter side out of the bottom three.
Bremen will be furious at having let two leads slip, after leading 2-0 within just over half an hour courtesy of a Berkay Dabanli own goal and an Eljero Elia finish, only to be pegged back to 2-2 with goals either side of half time from Hiroshi Kiyotake and Josip Drmic.
Elia scored his second goal just after the hour mark to restore the home side's lead, but Adam Hlousek fired another equaliser just a few minutes later.
The result moves Bremen up to ninth, and Nurnberg to 15th.
Eintracht Braunschweig 0-4 Stuttgart
2 of 7Eintracht Braunschweig's disastrous start to the season continued with a 4-0 thumping at home against Stuttgart, who themselves made it four games unbeaten to really put their own poor start behind them.
It was one-way traffic for much of the game but it took Stuttgart until five minutes before the break to fina a way through, with Vedad Ibisevic once more proving the goalscorer.
Alexandru Maxim scored the second with a shot on the rebound just after half time, while late goals from Ibrahima Traore and Martin Harnik gave the scoreline a more flattering look.
Stuttgart are up to sixth place after three wins and a draw from their last four matches, having begun the campaign with three defeats on the bounce. Braunschweig, meanwhile, remain rock bottom having won just one point from seven games this season, with only three goals scored.
Bayern Munich 1-0 Wolfsburg
3 of 7
Bayern Munich secured a 1-0 win over Wolfsburg thanks to Thomas Muller’s second-half goal.
Bayern are now unbeaten in seven games following the home win over Wolfsburg.
It was far from easy for Bayern, although Arjen Robben did not aid his team-mates’ cause by somehow firing off target from six yards.
Diego Benaglio did superbly to deny Muller just after half time, while at the other end Marcel Schafer went close with a header.
In the 63rd minute, Bayern made the breakthrough with Muller on hand to fire home at the far post after Franck Ribery’s cross had made it all the way across goal.
Borussia Dortmund 5-0 Freiburg
4 of 7
Borussia Dortmund kept pace with Bayern, and their 5-0 win over Freiburg took them top of the Bundesliga on goal difference.
Robert Lewandowski may well be moving on at the end of the season, if not before, but he still has focus on the task at hand and scored twice in the second half.
Marco Reus also got his name on the scoresheet on two occasions, with the fifth goal coming from Jakub Blaszczykowski.

Augsburg 2-2 Borussia Monchengladbach
7 of 7Augsburg scored a late equaliser to deny Borussia Monchengladbach a first away win of the season as the teams drew 2-2 on Friday to kick off the Bundesliga weekend.
Hosts Augsburg took the lead through Andre Hahn in the 27th minute. It was his first Bundesliga goal. Gladbach drew level six minutes later as Max Kruse created space for himself in the box with a cutback before firing into the net (see video).
Branimir Hrgota, a 68th-minute substitution for Patrick Hermann, put the visitors ahead in 71st minute with a left-footed volley in the box. Kruse played the final ball from the left. But Augsburg equalised two minutes from time as Arkadiusz Milik, also a second-half substitute, scored from a tight angle.
It was no more than the hosts deserved after outshooting Borussia Monchengladbach 20-8.
The draw lifted Gladbach into fifth place on 10 points through seven matches. Max Eberl's team have scored a league-best 17 goals but have conceded 13. Augsburg, who also have 10 points, are one place behind in sixth.
