West Brom vs. Manchester United: Date, Time, Live Stream, TV Info and Preview
Manchester United will look to close out their season in style when they take on West Bromwich Albion at home in their final English Premier League game of the season.
The Red Devils have already secured the league title for 2013, but that's not to say that they'll be taking it easy in this one. The game will be the last time that United boss Sir Alex Ferguson takes charge of the team, and they'll be desperate to send the illustrious manager out on a winning note.
West Brom aren't in the greatest run of form lately and are seemingly a long way away from the form that they were showing mid-way through the 2012-13 season.

They can still look to consolidate their eighth position on the league table here with a win, and having stunned many of the Premier League's top teams at the Hawthorns this year, will be more than confident that they can do the same to the league champions.

Previous Matchups and Recent Form
Manchester United beat West Bromwich Albion 2-0 when they played at Old Trafford earlier in the season, but the fixture was far closer than the score suggests.
United only went ahead after an own goal inside the opening 10 minutes, and finished with a second goal when Robin van Persie spectacularly fired home from outside of the box in the waning minutes of the match. Baggies goalkeeper (and formed United player) Ben Foster made a number of tremendous saves on the day, with West Brom pretty much matching United's total shots for the match, 14 to 17.
However, the Red Devils did dominate possession (58 percent to 42).
In terms of recent form, there's not a whole lot to write home about for either team, with both clubs plagued by inconsistencies over the final few weeks.
United have won just three of their past seven games and just two of their past four home fixtures, but the form line isn't any better for West Brom, who have won just one of their past eight games and just three of their last 11 fixtures in front of their home fans.
A loss could see West Brom drop down to ninth position behind Swansea City whilst a win would ensure that they finish in eighth position behind Liverpool.
Key Player to Watch: Romelu Lukaku, ST, West Bromwich Albion
Out of all the attacking players that United have on offer in this one, the key player here won't actually be a Red Devils player at all. Rather, West Brom striker Romelu Lukaku, who is playing his last game for the Baggies after spending the season on loan from Chelsea.
The Belgian international has been absolutely superb for West Brom this year, and has been instrumental to their strong season in the Premier League.
The 20-year-old has netted 14 goals and four assists in just 20 starting appearances, and despite not scoring in three weeks, will no doubt be a big threat here.
United's defense has been suspect at times this year and with Rafael suspended in this one, could take on a different look than what we've become accustomed to.
That's not to say that they'll be weak, per se, but any time a different formation is selected, there are changes that have to be made. And in the final game of the year—with very little to play for—United's defensive line may be found wanting at times in this one, which could allow Lukaku to pounce.
However, you've also got to think that Lukaku is playing for his future, too.
It is not yet known whether Chelsea will take him back into their first team squad next season, or whether he'll be sent out on loan again to another club.
The likes of West Ham and Swansea City have already signaled their intent to try and sign Lukaku on loan, and obviously West Brom would love to keep him as well, so this game could be a very interesting mark for the Belgian in terms of where he'll be playing his professional football next season.
Biggest Storyline to Follow: How Will Ferguson Play out His Final Game?
The biggest storyline heading into this one is without doubt the fact that Sir Alex Ferguson will be in charge of Manchester United for the final time in his career.
It will be the 1,500th time that he has managed United, and he will no doubt be as professional as ever in this one. However, after seeing just how emotional he was (by his standards) when the home fans at Old Trafford gave him his farewell last week, Ferguson may well opt for some different tactics here and play some players and formations not seen from the Red Devils this season.
Paul Scholes could be set for a starting spot here given that it's his last appearance, and it may also be the last time that players like Nani play for United as well.
Ferguson may take all of this into consideration and could very well line up a formation that's not quite the dominant 4-2-3-1 we've become accustomed to throughout the year.
United are very strong right across the pitch, so whatever team they do run out should still get the job done. However, as previously mentioned, a different formation and playing style always opens up further opportunities for the opposing team to expose any weaknesses or inconsistencies.
West Brom are very quick on the counterattack—especially down the right flank—and United's midfield must always be ready to deal with that threat here.
Sir Alex Ferguson's Final Pre-Match Quote (per Goal)
"So, my last game. God. 1,500 matches, quite incredible. It couldn't be more difficult, I think West Brom have done fantastic. They're a good, strong side and everybody wants to win their last home game, I think that's a fact of life.
Obviously we'll want to win this one, more than last week even.
Twenty-six years at Manchester United is fantastic. The whole thing, everything. The day I came here was a privilege and the day I leave here I've been honoured. You run the gauntlet of emotions of course, it’s such a great football club, and I’m lucky to have been here that length of time...

3 Stats to Consider

0. Manchester United are the only club that West Bromwich Albion have faced more than twice in the Premier League and have yet to defeat (two draws, 11 losses).
9. Manchester United have won their final Premier League game of the season in nine of the past 10 seasons, losing 1-0 to West Ham at Old Trafford in 2007.

Prediction
Even with team changes and the like, it really is very hard to see anything other than victory for Manchester United. You'd have thought that even with Sir Alex Ferguson staying on for another year, but given the emotion that will be existent in this game, it's even harder to see United getting beat.
The Red Devils' defense should see a lot of changes here, and given West Brom's swift counterattack, they could suffer a goal or two against them in this one.
However, United are simply too strong in attack, and with a dominant second half here, they'll finish their title-winning season on a high and send Ferguson out a winner.
Not that he wasn't one already.
Prediction: West Bromwich Albion 1, Manchester United 2
