Honduras vs. Mexico: Date, Time, TV Info and Preview 2014 World Cup Qualifier
Mexico will look to pickup a win in Honduras for the first time in nearly two decades this March, as El Tri get set to face off against Los Catrachos in San Pedro Sula on Friday.
The Hondurans picked up three huge points last month after topping the United States 2-1 in San Pedro Sula. Meanwhile, Mexico is off to a slow start in the fourth round of CONCACAF qualifying after failing to score a single goal in a draw with Jamaica at Azteca.
The two nations will square off on Friday in their second fourth-round qualifier.

Where: Estadio Olimpico Metropolitano, San Pedro Sula, Honduras
When: Friday, March 22, 2013
Start Time: 5:05 p.m. ET
Watch: Telemundo
Player to Watch for Honduras: Jerry Bengtson
Twenty-five-year-old MLS star Jerry Bengtson provided the match-winning goal for Honduras in its vital win over the United States in San Pedro Sula last month.
The talented forward has made over 30 appearances for the Honduran national team since 2010, scoring 15 goals since the start of 2011. Look out for him on Friday as he'll be playing with tons of confidence after delivering a clutch performance against the Americans in February.
Bengtson won't shy away from the moment on Friday. He's played on the Olympic stage and he's proven to be Honduras' go-to player, scoring five goals in four matches in London last summer.
Player to Watch for Mexico: Javier Hernandez
Javier Hernandez, better known as Chicharito, will be the player to watch for the visiting side on Friday. The 24-year-old can attack as well as anyone, and has loads of experience playing for the Mexican senior national team.
Chicharito has scored 28 goals for Mexico since 2010 and has poured in 48 for English Premier League powerhouse Manchester United since 2010 as well.
There are few players in the game as dangerous as Hernandez in front of the net. He can score in a variety of ways he's made a name for himself by doing just that with the Mexican national team over the past few years.
Prediction
After drawing with Jamaica in Mexico City last month, look for El Tri to play urgent football on Friday. On the other hand, Honduras will likely struggle to match its opponent's intensity considering Los Catrachos sit two points ahead of everyone in the CONCACAF fourth-round table.
It certainly won't be an easy task, but I expect Mexico to find its rhythm offensively after a dismal effort against the Jamaicans a few weeks back, and to cash in on a pair of goals, earning its first win in Honduras since 1993.
After all, the Mexicans possess more lethal firepower with players like Chicharito and Giovani Dos Santos. Plus, they have yet to drop a 2014 World Cup qualifying match.
Mexico 2, Honduras 1
