Arkansas vs Texas A&M: Latest Spread Info, BCS Impact and Predictions
When Texas A&M and Arkansas meet on Saturday, the Aggies will be looking for their first SEC win, while Arkansas will simply be trying to end a three-game losing streak.
For two teams moving in opposite directions this season, it is a vital showdown.
Can Texas A&M make noise in the SEC this season? Can they end a three-year losing streak against the Razorbacks? Or will Arkansas finally get a big win in an utterly disappointing season to this point?
Let's find out.
Where: Kyle Field, College Station, Texas
When: Saturday, September 29 at 12 p.m. ET
Watch: SEC Network; ESPN3
Spread: Texas A&M (-14), according to Bet Online.
Rutgers beat Arkansas by 11, and that was with Tyler Wilson back in the lineup and throwing for 419 yards. I think Texas A&M is better than Rutgers, so I would lay the points here.
Over/Under: 64.5, according to Bet Online.
The Razorbacks are giving up 36.3 points per game on their own, while Texas A&M is giving up just 12.3. If you think the Aggies will put up 45 points or more on their own, take the over. Arkansas is capable of scoring 20 on them.
If not, stick with the under.

BCS Implications
If Texas A&M wins, there is a good chance the Aggies sneak back into the Top 25. If Arkansas wins, the Razorbacks will still be one of the biggest disappointments in this young college football season.
Key to Arkansas Win
They need to stop the run and stop the pass.
Now, I know what you are thinking: Duh! Of course they need to do those things. But I'm not the one that identified those as keys to game.
Nope, those are the words of head coach John L. Smith on Wednesday, according to Edward Aschoff of ESPN: "Arkansas coach John L. Smith said Wednesday that the two things that aren't working for the Razorbacks' defense are stopping the run and stopping the pass."
So, there you have it. The Razorbacks need to start playing some defense, or they are going to keep losing games.
Key to Texas A&M Win
The Aggies need to get after Wilson, plain and simple. Arkansas may be 1-3, but behind Wilson and Cobi Hamilton, they are still a dangerous team through the air. If the Aggies can't pressure Wilson and force him into poor throws or turnovers, Arkansas can turn this game into a shootout.
Prediction
Under Smith, Arkansas just isn't very good. They'll score some points, but ultimately, Texas A&M will run away with this one, 38-23.
