In Week 1, we were treated to Alabama at Michigan, which saw the Crimson Tide assert their dominance, 41-14, and burst past USC for the No. 1 spot in the AP Top 25.
What does the rest of the season hold for the College GameDay crew?
Let's take a look.
Each week of the season, we will give you the schedule, location, predictions and more for College GameDay's "Game of the Week."
Week 2
Where: College Station, Texas
When: Saturday, Sept. 8 at 3:30 p.m. ET
Watch: ABC
Who: Florida (No. 24) at Texas A&M
Breakdown and Prediction
Texas A&M, in its first SEC game in school history, has the opportunity to make a name for itself against No. 24 Florida on Saturday.
This is head coach Kevin Sumlin's first season with the Aggies after four seasons at Houston, where he compiled a 35-17 record behind quarterback Casey Keenum.
This will also be quarterback Johnny Manziel's first start for Texas A&M. The redshirt freshman, a 3-star recruit ranked No. 14 at his position by Rivals.com in 2011, certainly has the legs and the arm strength to be a dangerous player for the Aggies, but he will need time to get accustomed to the college game.
Two other players to watch for will be linebacker Sean Porter and punt returner Dustin Harris.
Porter helped the Aggies lead the country in sacks last season (51) while racking up 9.5 sacks, 79 tackles (17.5 tackles for loss), six QB hurries and one forced fumble.
Harris led the nation in punt return average (18.6), ahead of the likes of LSU's Tyrann Mathieu and Arkansas' Joe Adams.
On the other side of the ball, Jeff Driskel is making his first start at quarterback for the Gators after starting at receiver last week against Bowling Green.
Driskel presents mobility at the QB spot, which may come in handy given the Gators' offensive line has been shaky recently. If Bowling Green pressured the quarterback last week, just imagine what Texas A&M can do.
The good news for the Gators is that senior running back Mike Gillislee dominated against Bowling Green last week. He rushed for 148 yards and two touchdowns on 24 carries.
Then again, the Aggies allowed just 2.7 yards per carry last season, the fifth-best mark in the nation.
I don't think A&M will score a lot of points in this one, but then again, I don't expect the Aggies to give up a lot, especially given the state of Florida's offensive line.
The Gators may be favored, but they are facing a hostile environment at Kyle Field (Home of the "12th Man"), and they committed 14 penalties against Bowling Green...after being ranked 114th in penalties last season.
I'm going with an upset here.
Prediction: Texas A&M 24, Florida 20
