Atletico Goianiense Fan Takes Pig to Brazilian League Match (Video)
Remember, everyone, the word "fan" is short for fanatic. Just keep that in mind for now, and we'll get back to it.

This woman, who apparently thought it was a good idea to bring her pet pig into a professional soccer match, is crazy. Absolutely nuts. Bonkers. Cuckoo.
See for yourself in the video above.
According to 101 Great Goals, pig lady is a fan of Brazilian side Atlético Goianiense, a club based in Goiâna, Brazil. On first glance, she seems like a nice enough lady, a grandmotherly type maybe, but then there's that crusty, absolutely ancient pig.
With that said, I'm willing to admit there's room for some cultural differences here. I'm no expert on Brazil. Is this a Brazilian thing? Is this how they get that incredible Churrasco food to taste so good?
Of course, it could just be a mascot (though it would be a hideous one at that), but there's an alternate possibility as well. Atlético currently sit 19th in the 20-team Brazilian league, squarely inside the relegation zone.
Perhaps an ancient pet pig will pacify the angry football gods. Only one way to find out.
