Olympic Soccer Schedule 2012: Guide to Remaining Men's and Women's Action
While the Summer Olympics are not as important to soccer fans as the World Cup, the Games provide plenty of excitement from start to finish.
There has already been a major surprise on the men's side, as Spain has lost its first two games and has been officially eliminated. They still have one more match against Morocco, but the team cannot advance to the quarterfinals.
On the women's side, the U.S. team has been dominant so far and are already on their way to the quarterfinals. Brazil and Great Britain have also started undefeated in their first two games.

What to Look For:
The Olympics restrict certain teams from fielding their best teams, so the tournament is usually a time for young players to shine.
Perhaps the best player in the event is Brazil's Neymar. The 20-year-old is already one of the best scorers in the world, and he is using these Olympic Games to show everyone what he can do. In addition, people should keep their eye on Giovani dos Santos of Mexico and Senegal's Moussa Konate.
As far as the battle for the gold, powerhouse Brazil is looking as good as ever in the opening round. Great Britain might use the hometown crowd to make a deep run, while Mexico is also dangerous as they are fielding close to their best team.

What to Look For:
The United States has defeated Brazil in each of the past two Olympics, and it looks as though we could be headed for this matchup for the third time.
Brazil has been completely dominant throughout its first two games, while the Americans have scored seven straight goals after overcoming an early 2-0 deficit against France.
Japan, winner of the 2011 World Cup, has struggled a bit in the opening round, but is one of a few teams that can defeat the pair at the top. Unfortunately, there might be too much talent between Marta on the Brazilian squad and Abby Wambach and Alex Morgan on the U.S.A.'s.
