Euro 2012 Results: Spain and Germany Will Continue Dream Run to Finals
With one semifinal set and the other to be decided tomorrow, it's becoming apparent who will face off for the crown in Euro 2012.
The two biggest favorites, Spain and Germany, have looked strong throughout the tournament and seem destined to reach the final.
Spain has had an incredible run over the last several years, winning Euro 2008 and then the World Cup in 2010. With the exception of a 1-1 draw to Italy in the group stage, they've looked solid in Euro 2012 without David Villa.

All eyes will be on Spain on Wednesday when they face Portugal in the semifinal.
Portugal began with a loss to Germany in the group stage but has won every match since.
The last time they faced each other in a friendly, Portugal knocked four in against Spain. However, Spain has had a reputation of putting out lackluster performances in friendlies the last couple of years. But this year, they've won all four friendlies they've played.
There are actual stakes this time around. Spain has excelled in tournament play, and there's no telling how much of an edge Portugal's last win will give them going into the semifinal.
Germany's youth and bevy of talent have also prevailed in recent years, finishing third in the 2010 World Cup and blazing through this year's tournament.
Having experience from the World Cup to build on is invaluable, and their youth should serve as an advantage this deep in the tournament.
Germany's opponent is yet to be decided, but between England and Italy, it's difficult to pick either of them over Germany, who cruised through one of the tournament's more difficult groups.
It's fair to say the sides still in contention certainly deserve to be there. Though at this point, a Germany/Spain final seems inevitable, just as it did before the tournament started.
We'll all know in less than a week.
