Madrid hope to widen their lead in the La Liga table with a victory over their Catalan rivals, but Los Blancos are 0-6-1 in their last seven league matches against Barcelona.

Dani Alves Will Earn Two Assists

This sort of match perfectly suits Barcelona right back Dani Alves because he will not have trouble making dangerous runs down the flanks against Madrid left back Marcelo.

Alves will be able to use his great pace to get into the attacking third and send effective crosses into the box where Barca will have some good scoring opportunities.

Expect Alves to be an important part of the Barca attack on Saturday and widen the field for the Catalan club.

Ronaldo Will Score Twice

Cristiano Ronaldo is so important to the Madrid attack, but his goal record against Barcelona is not very good.

Since joining Madrid for the 2009-10 campaign, Ronaldo has just one league goal against Barca, which came from a penalty kick.

Ronaldo will lead the Madrid attack on Saturday and cause problems for a Barca defense that hasn't been solid at times this season. 

Expect Ronaldo to attack Javier Mascherano in the middle of the Barca defense and test goalkeeper Victor Valdes early and often. 

The Portuguese superstar will bring a ton of passion and energy to this match and certainly has plenty of motivation to play well since the world will be watching him and Lionel Messi.

Both Teams Will Allow Three or More Goals

Each club scoring at least three goals hasn't happened in a league El Clasico match since March of 2007, but both clubs have a lot to play for on Saturday and will need to attack for the full 90 minutes.

The Barca defense hasn't been consistent this season and with all the pace and skill Madrid has at forward they could hurt Barca on the counterattack multiple times.

Lionel Messi, who failed to score in the club's Champions League semifinal first leg against Chelsea, will be highly motivated to dominate Madrid after his disappointing performance in England.

Jose Mourinho, who is a defensive manager, will have to make a decision whether or not to go for the three points or sit back.

I think he will gamble and go for it since a win could really help his club's confidence before they host Bayern Munich in the second leg of the Champions League semifinal.
