Super Bowl Recipes: Best Food You Can Serve at Your Giants vs. Patriots Party

Whether it’s because you love the game of football, you love the commercials or you simply love to pig out, Super Bowl Sunday is perfect for families and friends across the world.

The commercials can be entertaining, but I love me some football and food. We know that the New York Giants versus New England Patriots game is going to be great, but here are food choices that will equally as fantastic.

Most would say that I’m a picky eater, but these things are a must for any Super Bowl party.

Give me a New York-style pizza with pepperoni and cheese, and I’ll be set for the Super Bowl. If I had one food item to pick for a football party, pizza has to be my option.

It doesn’t matter where you get your pizza from, this food item is a must for any Super Bowl party.

I prefer to eat hot wings, but I also love barbecue, mild, ranch, buffalo and Louisiana liquor. Whatever your wing choice is, chicken wings and the Super Bowl go hand-in-hand.

With the assorted varieties, there are plenty of reasons to at least love one flavor of wings.

Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, Ribs

Anytime I tailgate at football games, we have to bring along hot dogs, hamburgers and the occasional ribs.

These three food items are a staple for tailgating outside, so why not bring them to the house? Get your grill ready and let’s start the barbecue.

Potato Chips

Doritos, salt & vinegar and honey-barbecue chips are easily my three favorites. And please, honey barbecue is completely different than barbecue. I get tired of telling people this!

Get your favorite dip with your favorite style of chips and eat it as your pre-meal or after-meal snack when you are looking for something to munch on.

Living in Western Pennsylvania, I like a hot soup that I can enjoy on a cold afternoon. If you have someone in your life that makes a mean helping of chili, make it on Super Bowl Sunday!

This might not be the case in warmer areas (and this entire list in general might not be the case because it's complete opinion), but chili and beef stew are two meals that I love during winter. With Super Bowl Sunday happening in early February, it makes sense for me to love Chili or beef stew on the best football day of the year.

These are easily my favorite food items to have at a Super Bowl party.

We may be different in one or even every choice, and that’s fine. If so, go ahead and comment what your favorites are.

Most importantly, as I am scurrying for food because of hunger, stay safe and enjoy the Super Bowl!
