NBA Rumors: Bucks Bidding to Host 2027 or 2028 All-Star Game at Fiserv Forum
The Milwaukee Bucks are bidding to host NBA All-Star Weekend in 2027 or 2028 at Fiserv Forum, per TNT Sports' Chris Haynes.
Milwaukee has only hosted the NBA All-Star Game once, and that was back in 1977. The door is now open for the Bucks to host the game 50 years later.
This year's All-Star Weekend is taking place in Indianapolis. Next year's will go down in San Francisco's Chase Center, the home of the Golden State Warriors.

All-Star Weekend will stick in California in 2026 but head south to Los Angeles when the Clippers will welcome the festivities to their new home arena, the Intuit Dome, which is scheduled to open in time for the 2024-25 season.
Now it appears Milwaukee could host the All-Star Game, provided its bid is successful of course.
Fiserv Forum is a relatively new arena (2018) and could be a good host for the game. Michael A. Scotto of HoopsHype conducted a poll of 35 media members in Nov. 2023 and asked them to give their opinions on NBA arenas, and Fiserv Forum finished a respectable ninth.
Milwaukee hasn't hosted an All-Star Game for a major professional sports league since 2002 when MLB's Midsummer Classic came to town. That matchup infamously ended in a 7-7 tie between the American and National Leagues.
Elsewhere in the state of Wisconsin, Green Bay is getting ready to host the NFL draft in 2025.
