Manchester City Fan's View on City, Mark Hughes, and January
No Washed-up's or Has-been's please Mr Hughes. I would like to think I can speak on behalf of all City fans when I say we don't want to see the likes of Craig Bellamy and Michael Owen at Manchester City.
While some are against Mark Hughes, others are in support, and while some are against certain players, others give the benefit of the doubt. But I am totally sure we are all in agreement of not having another Robbie Fowler entrance.
Mark Hughes should know by now that he needs to bring in proven quality players that can make an immediate impact and while he is at it we are all hoping they are not injury prone or almost hitting retirement.

The only real late purchase that has worked out for us in my opinion is Dietmar Hamann, and he is on his way out as we speak and his contribution is well appreciated.
I am a little disappointed in Micah Richards and Richard Dunne, quote "A little" seeing as I understand we don't have a quality leftback. I am also hoping that Hughes does not let Nedum Onouha go either—not many City fans will be pleased if that happens.
Very excited about how Stephen Ireland has progressed, if he keeps it up we will have a player better than Steven Gerrard on our hands—BIG thank you to Hughes for not letting Stephen Ireland leave.
Robinho is proving he is worth every penny of the £32 million, and Pablo Zabaleta has certainly earned his place at City.
In Vincent Kompany we know we have a quality all round central defender.
Daniel Sturridge—well done to the lad for taking his chances—and Felipe Caicedo has proved me wrong and it looks like we could have a couple of really good future strikers there.
We have way more to look forward too in the future with the likes of Vladimir Weiss, tipped by coaches as the new Ronaldo but even better. From what I see I agree with them so let's wish him a long, successful and injury free future.
Back to the main subject, not long now until the January transfer window officially opens and for me at least, its both exciting and unnerving. I only hope for Mark Hughes's sake that we don't purchase the likes of Bellamy and Owen because if that was to happen then I would have to rethink my backing for Mark Hughes and let's face it, Mark Hughes already has half the City fan base singing against him.
We can all agree that we need a holding midfielder, star striker, leftback, goalkeeper and centreback. I personally think if Hughes does not get the January signing's right then he will be sacked and replaced by a proven Manager by the end of the season.
Thankfully for Mark Hughes, Manchester City FC, and us City fans, December has picked up so let's hope the UEFA Cup works out for us too.
One last thing I wish to say is, I hope the New Year brings all us City fans the joy we deserve for all the faith and loyalty we have put into our club.
