Kim Kardashian Kris Humphries Divorce: Why Kris Will Excel on and off the Court

Kris Humphries will emerge from this Hollywood mess shining, both athletically and monetarily. Humphries is only 26 years old, and he is a good athlete with a foolproof game. His game is about desire and effort, and he has always been a lunch-pale, dirty-work style player.

"Emotional distress," as it is mentioned in this TMZ article, will not impact Humphries' game.

Humphries is not an idiot, despite what others may think. He knew what he was getting in to with Kardashian. He knew he was just a link in her chain of athlete pawns. To think that Humphries is really emotionally distressed or that a woman who made her marriage a part of her reality show would be looking for a traditional relationship is unrealistic.

Both Humphires and Kardashian were in this for the advancement of their celebrity in my opinion. As a matter of fact, Humphries stands to gain more by the very brief union. Think about it: Outside of the sports world, how many people in the world knew Kris Humphries? Not many.

Humphries will be good for his normal 12 to 13 points per game and his nine to 12 rebounds per game, provided he gets the minutes for the team he plays for. Despite what the TMZ article reports, the Nets can't cut Humphries, because he is a unrestricted free agent. The $3.2 million salary that is mentioned will not carry over to this year, as he will be signing a new deal.

Believe me, he will not be released under any circumstances, and he will not play poorly.
