Broncos vs. Vikings: TV Schedule, Live Stream, Radio, Game Time and More

Donald WoodNov 30, 2011

The Denver Broncos are trying to continue their recent success against their battered and bruised opponents, the Minnesota Vikings. This game won’t be pretty.

It should be a close game, so I expect Tim Tebow to lead the Broncos to a victory in the fourth quarter while the defense doesn’t get the rightful credit they deserve.

What's at Stake?

For the Denver Broncos, every game is a playoff game. The AFC West is completely up for grabs at this point and there is nothing standing in the way of Denver winning if they keep playing at their current level. Minnesota would love to play spoiler to all of that dreaming stuff Tebow and the Broncos are doing.

Fantasy: Start 'Em, Sit 'Em and Sleeper

Start 'Em: Tim Tebow, Broncos

For fantasy owners there is nothing more important than consistency, and as odd as it has looked on the field, Tebow has been fairly consistent fantasy point-wise. You should expect 150 yards passing and another 60 rushing for at least two touchdowns total.

Sit 'Em: Adrian Peterson, Vikings

With a high ankle sprain that may be keeping him out for the game, this is a risky play. If you have better options, be advised to use them this week.

Sleeper: Denver’s Defense

With a rookie quarterback getting late into the season and possibly without a star the caliber of Adrian Peterson, Christian Ponder will be in trouble. This could be the Denver Broncos’ defensive coming-out party.

Key Matchup: Tim Tebow vs. Vikings Secondary

It’s obvious that the Broncos are coming out of the shoot with a run-first attack, but a quick pass barrage early in the game could back the defense off enough to then open the run game. If the Broncos could infuse five to seven more pass plays per game, I think Tebow could throw for big scores on play-action.

Prediction: Broncos 17, Vikings 13
