Virginia Tech vs. Virginia: TV Schedule, Live Stream, Radio, Game Time and More
The Virginia Tech Hokies will travel two-and-a-half hours to take on their arch rival, the Virginia Cavaliers this Saturday.
Both teams are having great seasons this year, and this game has much more meaning than in years past, as it will determine who the wins the ACC Coastal Division.
The Cavaliers surprisingly beat Florida State last weekend, which means they have to upset the Hokies in order to play for the ACC title.
It won't be easy though, especially considering Virginia Tech has won seven straight over Virginia, as well as 12 of the last 15.
With that said, let's take a look at some specifics of this huge rivalry.

Virginia Injury Report
According to USA Today, LB Daquan Romero (lower body) is questionable, but DE Bill Schautz (ankle) and WR Bobby Smith (lower body) are doubtful for Saturday.
BCS/Top 25 Implications
For the No. 5 Hokies, this is a must-win game because it will secure their spot in the ACC title game, and with a little luck over the next couple of weeks they could even land in the BCS title game. That will be difficult because of their schedule, but it's still a possibility since they jumped into the Top Five this past weekend.
For the Cavaliers, they aren't ranked in the BCS, but a win over the Hokies would most definitely put them in the Top 25. It would also put them in the ACC title game, a place they have never been. Nobody expected much from Virginia this year, but the Cavaliers are 8-3 on the year and determined to beat their in-state rivals.
What They're Saying
Mark Giannotto covers Virginia Tech for The Washington Post, and he tweeted out some news that should definitely worry Hokies fans.
Week 12 was indeed a wild and wacky time in college football, but unlucky number Week 13 will certainly bring a few crazy finishes and big upsets.
The question is, will the Hokies avoid it all? That remains to be seen, but they cannot overlook the Cavaliers like in years past. Virginia is playing much better, and they will be prepared to battle the Hokies for all four quarters.
Steve Yanda covers Virginia for The Washington Post, and he tweeted some news that brings a smile to any and all Cavaliers fans.
With Mike London as their head coach, the Cavaliers are starting to turn heads and make noise in the ACC. They've had a few tough losses, but also some big wins over teams like a then-ranked No. 21 Georgia Tech, as well as over a then-ranked No. 25 Florida State.
The possibility of upsetting their big-time rival on Saturday is very high, but they'll have to play some killer defense, or else they will be toast.
Virginia Tech Player To Watch
David Wilson failed to rush for over 100 yards last week for the first time since Week 3. It was only the second time all year that Wilson didn't surpass the century mark in rushing yards.
Many wondered if the Hokies run game would survive after the loss of Darren Evans and Ryan Williams, but Wilson has stepped his game up and carried the load for Virginia Tech. He's averaging six yards per carry, is third in the NCAA in rushing yards and has been a pleasant surprise all season long.
Virginia Player To Watch
Michael Rocco has only thrown one interception in the last five games, and his error-free ways have been a major part of the Cavaliers' success. He had his rough moments earlier in the year, throwing seven interceptions in five games, but he has turned it around to help lead the Cavaliers to a great record.
It helps that Rocco will be playing at home on Saturday, but he can't get too comfortable or else the Hokies will make him pay. If Rocco plays mistake-free football, then the Cavaliers will be in the game for all four quarters.
Key Matchup
The key matchup to watch for on Saturday is how both defenses stack up against the run. The Hokies are ranked No. 13 in the nation against the run, and the Cavaliers come in at No. 28.
Both teams have very talented running backs that are capable of breaking plays wide open on a moment's notice. Each defensive front has to come to play and shut down the opposing running backs, or it could turn into a long night for either team.
Key Storyline
Will the Cavaliers be able to end their losing streak against the Hokies? It's the question everyone wants answered because the last time Virginia beat Virginia Tech was in 2003.
However, this season, the Cavaliers are much better than in previous years, and London will have them fully prepared for this game. Do not sleep on the Cavaliers because they're going to give the Hokies all they've got this Saturday. After all, it is a huge rivalry game.
Prediction
The Hokies will start out very cold, but pick up the pace in the second half to make this game close. This intense rivalry will come down to fourth-quarter play, and I give the edge to the Hokies.
They may be on the road, but the Hokies will prevail thanks to late-game heroics by Logan Thomas. He will be the difference-maker on Saturday, as the Cavaliers will struggle to slow him down late in the game when it matters most.
